Welcome back to another slow living vlog from the South of France. Join me for a few gentle summer days in our beautiful French village as we soak up the simple pleasures of life in the Languedoc.
This week we're wandering quiet village streets, picking up fresh local melon from a rustic farm, enjoying the slower pace of life, and reflecting on what it means to grow older and appreciate everyday moments. If you dream of moving to the South of France, love authentic French villages, or simply enjoy cosy, relaxing vlogs, I hope you'll feel right at home here.

Every year around this time I find myself wondering the same thing.
Where did the days go? Perhaps it's because another school year is drawing to a close,
marking yet another season that seems to have slipped quietly past, or perhaps it's simply
because as we grow older we become more aware of the passing of time. When we're young time feels
wonderfully abundant, we believe there will always be another summer, another celebration,
another chance to say we'll do that next year. As the years pass we begin to understand that
time is our most precious possession, not because there's too little of it,
but because we finally realise how quickly it becomes memory.
Yet I don't think knowing this is something to fear, it teaches us to pay attention.
Living in the south of France has quietly reinforced this for me.
There is an ease to life here that feels increasingly rare. People seem to understand
something that many of us spend years trying to relearn, that life isn't waiting somewhere beyond
the next achievement or the next item on the list. It's already here, the moments that anchor us,
the ordinary days that are never weirdly ordinary days at all, for one day they will become the days
we wish we could visit again. So maybe the greatest luxury isn't finding more time,
it's learning to really live the time we already have.
there's a small farm not far that we go to when the winds are blowing the sand a bit too much
for a swim. It's a beautifully rugged place weathered by seasons rather than trends.
I love that my girls can really run here. In spring wild asparagus grows in between the trees
and in summer the ponies do bellads. Let me show you. Hi everyone, I just wanted to pop on at the
end of this video firstly of course to say thank you so much for watching but also just to let you
know that during the summer months, so July and August, I'm going to try my best to release the
two videos I do every week. It is the school holidays here and I'm the main person who looks
after our daughters during the school holidays so I think some weeks will be harder than others
maybe to do some more of the exploring ones, the lost and the longer dot videos. I'll put a little
post on the community section as well and again if ever, if there are places that you you would
like me to go to or specific bits of my videos you love and you you'd like more of, do let me
know. I love that comment section and getting to know you all a bit more. Thank you so much
and bon vacons!
