Basel has one of Switzerland’s most fascinating tram networks, combining dense city routes, suburban railway-style sections and international lines extending into both Germany and France. In this video, we explore Basel trams in 2026 — from the busy hubs of Centralbahnplatz and Aeschenplatz to the historic streets along the Rhine and cross-border routes reaching Weil am Rhein, Saint-Louis and Leymen.
