Closed Shell Stitch | How to Crochet

If you're looking for a beautiful crochet stitch pattern for your next project whether it be a baby blanket, afghan or shawl, this Closed Shell stitch is perfect!

It is worked using basic crochet stitches including double and single crochet. It is a one row repeat making it a great choice for beginners. I have worked it using a solid colour yarn, but of course you can mix it up! You may also wish to experiment with this stitch pattern in different yarn weights.

This crochet pattern is written using American crochet terms.
