Hi, everyone. Welcome back to the Daniela Cambodi show. So excited because today my colleague Taylor
Kenny joins me. She works with me over at ITM Trading, and she's been breaking down the idea
of a monetary reset in a series of recent videos that have really connected and resonated with you
all, including a recent conversation with our other colleague, Fernando Grijalva, who basically
live and experience Mexico's currency devaluation. But today we're going to get Taylor's personal
take on the real risks of a reset, what it can mean for our money, and what happens to our homes
if the system shifts. Taylor, how are you doing? So good to see you again. Oh, thank you so much
for having me. I'm so excited to be here. It's been too long. I'm pumped that we're together again.
I know. Covering coast to coast, literally, how is the weather in Arizona?
Oh, I think you know what I'm gonna say. 115 degrees. It's a little bit toasty. So
I will be escaping this weekend. I'm actually heading to Maine, so closer to your side of the
coast. Yeah, well, I was gonna say we're on like blood watch today here in New York City. The
weather's been crazy, but I couldn't wait to get you on because you've been doing great work
covering the reset, right, and interviewing people who have actually lived through
currency devaluations. And we actually worked with Fern who, you know, documented basically
what he experienced in Mexico. But I thought it would be interesting today to get your take,
Taylor, of what you've learned and what your biggest takeaway was from that conversation.
So let's start from there. I mean, was there anything new you learned from Fern? Yeah, I mean,
I think it's always different when you hear it firsthand from someone, especially because there
are so many people out there who say, oh, well, that will never happen here, right? Currency
resets, that's just something that happens elsewhere. It happens in other countries. Oh,
it happens in Venezuela, Mexico, Weimar. The list goes on and on. But at the end of the day,
when you break it down, it's really just patterns, right? And so if you know what to look for,
if you understand the symptoms that are in place, then you understand that the United States is
no different than any other country who has experienced a currency reset. So when you say
looking for patterns, how deep are we into that pathway? Yeah, absolutely. Well, I guess backing
up because the number one question we always get for anyone who is watching and wondering
what exactly is a reset. Yes. I always say it's both a process and an event, right? So we're
living through a global monetary reset right now. But specifically what Fern and I talked about in
that interview was almost you could call it reset day. And that would be an official devaluation of
the currency. So it typically happens in stages, right? A reset starts when there's an overprinting
devaluation of the currency. You see a loss of confidence in that currency that leads to
inflation, hyperinflation, and then it gets bad enough to a point where that's where the government
someone would come out on TV, someone in charge and would officially decree,
okay, we're actually going to revalue or reset the currency. That might not be the language they
use, right? They'll have the propaganda machine probably running over time trying to make everyone
calm saying, we're doing this for you. But make no mistake, it's to save the system. And what it
would really look like is, let's say, a 10 to 1 reset, you have a million dollars in the bank,
right? US dollars, they come out with a new currency, they now say, well, we're
resetting at 10 to 1. So you go to check your bank account, now you have $100,000 in your bank
account. And again, this is really scary stuff. Because a lot of people go, wait, I've never heard
of this. Or again, that couldn't happen here. But we're on the same trajectory. Wow. I mean,
after that conversation, did you come away thinking, or what was your sense of urgency?
Do you think this is going to happen quicker than you originally thought?
Yeah, I mean, I don't know if it's going to happen quicker than I thought.
I have been talking about this for a minute, because we can see that it's accelerating.
But the sense of urgency was very strong for me. Because again, I in my everyday life,
talk to people who are always trying to time things. Even people who understand this,
or who have studied currency resets throughout history, and they say, I know it's coming,
but I'm trying to time, I'm trying to wait. No one knows exactly when that next phase is going
to happen. But again, I said, we can look at these patterns, right? So one of the biggest
things for me, that I keep a close eye on right now is the bond market. Right? I mean, really,
the United States as the global reserve currency, is kind of the shield that's been protecting the
US from progressing forward. And I'm not saying we're going to lose that status tomorrow. But
when you look at yields rising, when you look at the amount of interest we're paying on the debt,
you look at nations moving away from US debt, all of these things coming together, right,
this is kind of what's actually changing. It's people go, Oh, well, we've had a debt crisis
forever. Right? Nothing's different. We've had that forever. Nothing's different. What is different
today is the interest. That's what that for me is what's really changing things and accelerating
this cycle. So I guess my your biggest concern, I mean, I think one of the greatest blessings we
have is we get to speak to everyday people living this and are truly concerned. I, you know, you
used example of having a million dollars that going down to 100,000. What's your biggest concern
for everyday savers? Yeah, for everyday savers is that they're going to wake up one day, and they're
either going to have their accounts frozen or devalued. And they're essentially going to be
left with far less than they had the day before, right? I mean, people think inflation is bad when
it's at four or 5%, 10%. Then you have hyperinflation, you think it can't get any worse? Well, then what
happens, like I said, when your bank account like that overnight is devalued? How long can you really
afford to live and pay your bills? If you had that much of your wealth taken away from you?
I guess people are probably saying, but wouldn't I have? Isn't there legislation against this,
that this just can't happen? Like, how do I go from a million dollars to 100,000 overnight?
Wouldn't I be protected somehow? It's a good question. It seems like it should be something
that's illegal. But if you're saving in the currency, right, if you're saving in US dollars,
and really anything that's dollar denominated, so it's not just your savings and your checking that
will be affected. That's something else people misunderstand, right? If we have an actual reset
happen, what's going to happen to the stock market historically, right? It's going to tank
real estate values, right? We're going to see them come down. It's what happens again in every country
throughout reset. So anything really that's dollar denominated. But as far as your checking,
your savings, anything you're storing in the US dollar, at the end of the day, what is the currency
actually backed by? It's not backed by physical gold, right? I can tell you that much. It's backed
by the faith and credit of the United States government, which today doesn't mean that much,
right? I mean, at one point it did, today it doesn't. So ultimately, the currency you hold,
while you might look at it as a store of value, it's not, and you actually don't have any recourse.
At the end of the day, the Federal Reserve can do whatever they want. It's within their control,
and you really don't have a right, and good luck fighting them. Don't you think there'd be an
uprising, Taylor? I do. I do. I mean, I think that more people today, something on a positive note,
when people ask me, what's something good you're saying? I always say that I feel like more people
are waking up to what's going on. They're understanding what's happening. I, in my
personal life, when I talk to more people, they know that things aren't right. They're not still
quite maybe right where I'd want them to be, to really see, have that light bulb moment, as I call
it, to what's coming next. I'm sure a lot of, most of our viewers are, right? Because they've probably
been watching stuff like this for a while, or following this, or digging in. But I think that
as more people wake up to this, there will be more people making sure they're protected outside of
the system, is my hope. You know what, if I could share this personal story, I mean, we cross the
border often since, you know, I'm originally from Canada. I now live, obviously, in the United States,
and we just got back from Canada, crossing the border, and the agent, the woman agent working,
you know, the patrol officer, the border agent, excuse me, you know, recognized me from the
podcast, or saw my name, and said, oh my gosh, I started watching you years ago, and I, you know,
I'm a single mom, I put my son, like, all into silver and gold, and she was going on about the
reset, and how our, you know, we're heading towards a devaluation, and she knew so much, and I was just
so thrilled that, you know, she had this, this, this awakening about 10 years ago, to your point,
that people are, you know, waking up. I just, you know, she knew so much about questioning the system,
and here she is, you know, government official. I love that story. That's awesome. I mean, that's,
that's why we do what we do, right? I think you also speak a lot about what happens to your debt
in a reset, so do people just get to say, hey, yay, it's all gone? No, I also recently had another
interview with one of our analysts, Keely Call, yes, and we talked about debt in the reset, and
it's funny, right, because I see that all the time. People go, well, maybe a reset's a good thing for
me, right? Maybe that's actually what I need, because I have all this debt, poof, it'll vanish, right, and,
you know, she made me laugh. She just said, kind of, like, what was the quote she said? I think,
betting on your debt disappearing in the reset is like betting it on a three-legged mule at the
Kentucky Derby, right? At the end of the day, the banks are going to get theirs, and we've seen that
again, too. This isn't just something, right, we're making out of thin air. If you study currency
resets throughout history, and when I say throughout history, I'm talking about recent history and
recent nations that have gone throughout resets, they can and they will change the rules on you,
so any kind of debt you have is tied to a contract, right? You've signed something, and within that
contract, there's going to be a clause that's going to let them change the rules on you, and they're
going to get theirs. Do you think the banks are going to turn around and walk away and say, oh, well,
you know, it's all inflated away? No, that might work for the government, but they're not going to
let it work for you. So are you better off, right, if you're a homeowner, and you know, think of my
parents, you know, they owned their home, no mortgage. Are they better off than someone
carrying a mortgage? At the end of the day, I think if you can be debt-free, that obviously is going to
be what you want to do. That being said, the caveat to that that I always say is make sure you have
your gold and silver, because something else we talked about, right, is property taxes or other
things that are going to come up at the end of the day, and if you only have the currency, the
currency we know that's going to be reset and continuously devalued, you're going to be in a
really sticky situation, even if you are debt-free. You're going to want to make sure you're set up so
that on the other side of the reset, you have your gold and silver so that you are protected in that
scenario, and that you can pay bills, and not only pay bills, but we've talked to a lot of clients,
right, who have actually set themselves up for opportunity on the other side, and I thought that
was something I really loved from that interview with Fernando, too. He talked about his business
partners in Mexico who actually came out the other side richer, right, because of the way they
positioned beforehand, swooping up assets and businesses at a fraction of the cost. And, you
know, I've had conversations with Lobo Tigre or Frank Giustra or people who actually lived through
these currency devaluations who speak about how either gold or silver saved their parents'
business, their lives, basically, or they were kind of had an awakening to the power of gold and silver.
So let's talk a little bit more about that, of how do you use that gold and silver to resell? I'm sure
you get asked all the time, well, okay, Taylor, I have my gold, how do you want me to buy my loaf of bread?
Right, no, and it is a good question. I think what's funny is people ask first, they go, well,
when will I know it's time to sell, right, or should I be selling now? No, you'll know when
it's time, right, it's not time yet, the reset hasn't happened, we're not there, what you bought
it for, if you bought it for your insurance policy to protect yourself, we're not there yet. But when
it does happen, that's why you're going to want to work with someone and have someone in your corner
who understands what to do next. And that's something we at ITF specialize in as well, it's
not just pre-reset, but post-reset. And as far as using it, right, I mean, for me, they have different
functionalities, right? I mean, silver for me, that's my daily driver, that's what I'm going to
be using. Obviously, I'm probably not going to be taking this to the grocery store, unless, you know,
trying to walk out with the whole grocery store, but this could be, again, my property taxes, it
could be those investment opportunities, like I said, on the other side. So it just depends, you
know, but I think that's where you want to work with someone who understands. I want to know if
you have the same experience as I do, because in my friend group, I am the only one who really works
in this special industry, and it is special. I mean, what does your husband think of this, Taylor,
of what the mission you're on, the purpose you're on, your friend group, do they get it?
Yes, so my husband, well, yes, my husband and some immediate family of mine, it would be tough,
I think, if my husband didn't get this or wasn't fully on board. I also had the privilege of, I've
shared this story before, of my grandpa teaching me sound money lessons from a young age. So my
grandpa, my mom, my uncles also very much understand. But as far as my friends go,
not so much. They have no idea what I do. I try and explain it, they'll even watch my videos to
be supportive. Some of them have said, wow, you know, I'm gonna go buy gold. And then they go,
wow, I had no idea that's how much gold costs, right? Like it's, it's funny, because they just,
they have no idea what's going on. Speaking about the price of gold. I mean, do you,
obviously, we track it daily, we're in the industry. But do you get bogged down by it?
You know, people come to you and say, oh, it was, you know, 5000 earlier this year,
and now it's for whatever. I mean, how do you how do you walk people through
the fluctuations in the price? Yeah, absolutely. You know, I don't focus on price too much. Again,
the gold that I have tucked away, I don't worry if I'm not stressed about it, right? My physical
gold, it actually brings me peace of mind. That being said, it's a fair question. When people
say what's going on with price, you know, how do you feel about it? At the end of the day,
when I look at gold, the thesis for gold has not changed, right? I know where gold is going
in the future, because I see where the debt is going in the future, right? Coming back to what's
going on with the US. I always ask people one question. Are they going to stop printing?
The answer is always no, right? And that doesn't matter who I asked that question to,
whether they're in our industry, or my friends or family, right? For the most part, everyone goes,
they're going to keep printing. I truly believe that. I mean, I've obviously entered some heated
debates with some of my guests who feel that we're going to see a high possibly before the
midterms. I personally, you know, and I try not to put my personal opinions into the interviews,
but sometimes I just can't bite my tongue. And I'm like, I just can't. We're already printing
money. Just we are not putting it in the headlines. We were already printed. Warsh has already done so.
Right. I mean, they call it QE Lite. They come up with these creative terms for it. And I think
what we're seeing right now is nothing to what's coming next too. I think we're heading towards
another even bigger print, right? Whether it's 2008, what happened in 2020, I think that that
was just a warmup for what's coming next. I mean, I truly believe that. And as far as rates go,
I mean, I know I saw that Citadel came out, they're going to raise. Bank of America,
they're going to hold steady. Everyone's got their prediction. At the end of the day,
there's a lot of propaganda. There's a narrative being pushed that what's going on with Warsh and
the Fed is somehow different. This time is different. He's going to save the system.
At the end of the day for me, he's still in the Federal Reserve. The Federal Reserve,
this idea that they can save us, that they can stop inflation. They're the ones who created it,
right? I mean, Murray Rothbard has this great story where it's like, it's akin to having a
robber steal something run down the street and point over his shoulder and go, thief, thief,
thief. It's like, I just personally agree with you. I talked earlier about the debt and bond
yields. It's going to reach a breaking point where they can either save you and your dollars
and your savings or they can save the system. They're going to save the system every single
time at whatever cost to you. I just want to get one more question. And I think this is an
important one. I think there's a misconception that, oh, you have to be wealthy to own gold
and silver. So what do you say to someone watching this, perhaps today, Taylor, who
maybe doesn't have any exposure to gold and silver? They think, oh, it's just elitist.
What do you say? I would not say it's elitist because it is the oldest form of true money.
When we talk about money, it's true money. This garbage, this is currency. This confetti is
currency. This is true money. And it's been around since the dawn of time, since history. It's what
people have used and saved in and stored. And for anyone out there who's worried or scared to make
that jump, there really isn't a threshold to get started. And I always tell people, just start.
Right. When you buy your first, let's say it's your first silver round. Right. You look at it,
you hold it, you feel it. You know, it's real. You know, it's tangible. That kind of kickstart
something in you. And from there on, you know, you can continue to build and build and build.
Everyone's different because people will ask, well, should I be buying consistently? Should
I buy all at once? Should I do this or that? And I mean, those are personal questions. I always tell
people, if you really want to talk to someone, call us. That's what we do. We have an expert
team, right, who can help answer those questions. But as much as education helps, it's action that
will truly protect you from what's coming next. And I'm so excited because now, ITM, we have gone
global. Even if you are outside of the United States, I know I have a lot of Canadian followers
and European followers and wherever you are in the world, we can we can now help you, which is,
you know, a tremendous thing. I'm so excited about this new division. But like Taylor said,
we have people working at ITM who will answer the phone, speak with you, who have real people
live through currency devaluations reset. So to Taylor's point where you think like this
can never happen here. Call us. It's crazy how many people I talk to who say, well,
that happens there. That won't happen here. And again, you can lead a horse to water,
you can't make them drink. But just start, like you said, to your point, just start. And it's
true because then, and I tell my girlfriends this too, if you start even just with silver,
all of a sudden you'll maybe wake up every morning and say, oh, I wonder what the spot
price of silver is and just start checking the price. And then you'll see headlines and you'll
learn and you'll start piecing the puzzle pieces together. And suddenly we'll just start making
sense to you. Yeah, like I said, that light bulb moment, everyone has one. And once that light bulb
turns on, you really never go back. Yeah, it's true. It's so true. Okay. Taylor, it was so fun
speaking with you. I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer. It's going by so fast, so quickly.
It is going by really quickly. But thank you so much for having me on. This was awesome. Yes,
we'll definitely have to do more of these. Absolutely. Come back soon. We'll see Taylor
Kenny real soon. She'll keep us posted on her reset interviews. Keep us abreast of everything
that's happening and changing. We'll have more great content coming your way. As always, reach
out to my wonderful colleagues over at ITM Trading. They're there to help you and we will see you soon.
