a wonderful day in Hai Phong

Today I'm going to take you on a one-hour day tour around Haiphong. We will try local food, visit some interesting places and enjoy the city like local people do. So let's start our trip. This is schedule for today including morning, noon, afternoon and evening. First, we will have breakfast at a local restaurant about 500 meters from Haiphong Hotel House. We will try bánh mì chiếm kẹp chính which means bread with egg cream. The bread is crispy while the egg cream is soft, sweet and creamy. We will also have soft coffee. Vietnamese coffee is strong and a little bitter. But the sweet cream makes it smooth and special. After breakfast, we walk to Haiphong Opera House. It's one of the most famous buildings in the city center. It has beautiful old-style architecture and it's a great place to take photos. We can also walk around the nearby street and see how local people spend their day. For lunch, we will go to a local restaurant food about 1.5 km from the Opera House. Today, we will try bún thịt nướng and nem cua bể. Bún thịt nướng is made with fried noodles, grilled pork, vegetables and short. But the special dish is nem cua bể, one of the most famous food in Haiphong. It is a crepe pie string roll filled with crepe, pork, mushroom and vegetables. One interesting thing is its shape unlike many Vietnamese food, Haiphong nem cua bể is usually square. If you like seafood, I think you will really enjoy it. For lunch, we will go back to the city center and spend some time around the Opera House. We will walk around the pedestrian area, take some photos and enjoy the local atmosphere. Then at about 3 p.m., we will have tea at Me Cha on Tran Phu Street opposite the Opera House. Drinking tea or coffee and talking with friends is a common part of life in Vietnam. So this is a good chance for you to relax and experience local life. Next visit, we will visit Co Da Market, a popular place for local street food. Here we will try bánh xèo and bánh bột lọc. Bánh bột lọc is a small sweet cake and usually filled with shrimp and pork. Bánh xèo is a crispy pancake with shrimp, pork and beansprouts. Bánh bột lọc is earthy and full of different flavors and smells. So this is a good place to experience local Haiphong food. For dinner, we will have a Thai hot pot at Hot Pot Thai diner in Mo Hai Phong. We can enjoy hot soup with meat, seafood, vegetables and mushrooms. It is a great meal to share with my friends. After dinner, we will have champion ice cream for dessert. Finally, at 8.30 p.m., we will go to see the day off in Yeung Mo Nation Haiphong to watch the Harry Potter. Before the movie, we will buy some popcorn and drink 5 ounces and get ready for the movie. After the film, we will take a few photos and finish our day in Haiphong. Thank you for our reservation.
