AI GeneratedThis video explains a professional approach to potty training puppies and older dogs in as little as 48 hours. The core philosophy shifts from \"teaching\" a dog to go outside to strategically managing their intake of food and water to predict exactly when they need to eliminate, thereby establishing a consistent habit of outdoor success.
If you are sick and tired of having your dog or brand new puppy peeing and pooping all over
your house you're sick and tired of getting up at two in the morning seeing your dog or puppy
covered in their own pee or poop you may be slipping almost breaking your freaking neck
on that little pee puddle that they left for you or you see that little surprise nugget that they
left for you behind the the couch always finding new places that your puppy has found to pee and
poop you are not alone it is the number one issue most dog owners face and it's one of the number
one issues that dogs end up in the shelter is because you all have trouble getting your dogs
to pee and poop outside and that's the problem is you're like struggling on that one thing I just
need to teach them to go outside you've actually got it all wrong it's not about teaching them to
go outside it's about knowing when they have to go so that you can literally strategically place
them and as soon as you put them down they go right where you want them to go how is it that
I know he needed to pee right now in this video we're going to share with you our secret that gets
every puppy potty trained in as little as 48 hours or less and yes this works with older dogs as well
we'll talk more about this in this video but we're going to debunk all the myths and show you the
proven professional secret tips that can get any puppy potty trained 48 hours or less let's get
into it yeah buddy all right before we can get into what works we have to stop three things you're
doing right now that are going to undermine everything we're about to tell you number one
stop following old grandpappy's advice oh if you come home and there's a poop just grab him by the
scruff and shove their face in it it's disgusting disgusting there's a better way I know some ass
clowns going to post in the comments oh but it worked for me congratulations you keep doing that
nasty stuff we're going to show you a much cleaner healthier better way you don't destroy the
relationship with your dog number two pee pads nothing nothing will undermine potty training
faster than teaching your dog that it's okay to pee in your house even if you're successful with
it yeah you taught them to pee on a pee pad that's in your house now what do you do when you
eventually want to get that pee pad up because it's nasty it's unsanitary makes your house smell
horrible what you're going to have to do is eventually get those pee pads up and put them
outside well what happens when your dog has to pee and there's no pee pad they'll find a carpet
they'll find the next best thing or they'll just pee right where the pee pad was they don't care
they don't care about the pee pad they care where the pee pad was and that's exactly where they're
going to go so that's not going to work and last but certainly not least this one you want to be
very careful with and that's this idea that man honey if we can just teach him to maybe ring some
bells at the door to let us know when he has to go outside oh beautiful in theory very cool very
hard to execute and let me tell you even if you get it done you've just created a monster let me
at this age they do not have great control of their bladder meaning by the time they feel like
oh i think i have to pee they're already peeing you don't have 30 seconds or a minute to run over
and let them out what if you actually do teach them that if they ring the bell you will open
the door and then go out and pee well they will also learn if they want to go outside and do
anything chase bunnies bark at the neighbors lay in the grass jump in your pool dig a hole act a
all they got to do is ring the bell in fact what will happen is they'll ring the bell you'll let
them out they will go pee and then you'll bring them in and you're set you're trying to watch that
football game and then 30 seconds later they're ringing the bell again and you're like oh maybe
he's got to go pee again no he doesn't they're just playing you they've trained you like a robot
ring the bell dum-dum opens door you're going to get sick and tired of opening that door 50 or 100
times a day it's not sustainable there's a much better way in this next section we're going to
all right in this section this is what it's all about baby we're going to have a little
demonstration for you so that this clicks the simple math is what goes in must come out we know
that but what you're probably not paying attention to is how much is going in and how often is it
going in because that's going to exactly explain how much needs to come out and when it needs to
come out that's the whole recipe that's what we're after so for every time your dog drinks from the
water bowl doesn't matter how much they drink it's at least three to more like five p's that's
one p sometime later another p but the problem is as they maybe got one or two p's out they went
back for more water more water more p more water more p if your puppy drinks from the water bowl
just 10 times a day that's at least 50 p's and i don't know about you but ain't nobody got time
for that there's a much better way and i'm going to show you how salty hey gary have you ever
trained a wolf like in the wild no but i've trained a two-headed gila monster you ever feel
like you're pissing in the wind when it comes to selecting the right dog training for you
and your dog it's no wonder because the dog training industry is wholly unregulated
which means at least four out of five dog trainers simply don't know what the hell they're doing
that's why we created dog training decoded a 100 free course designed from the ground up to help
you shift shimmy and shake through all of the noise and confusion so that you can finally have
a dog that is trained to be the best that they can be don't believe me why don't you give it a
try had you fooled didn't i all right now we moved it to the board so we can really visualize this
for you make this super simple so you don't forget it as we discussed every time they drink water
five p's if your puppy let's say drinks at 7 a.m then 7 30 then 8 maybe 9 9 45 10 15 they take a
nap 12 and then they come at 1 2 maybe 8 or 9 at night god forbid let me do some simple math for
you for every water five peas 5 10 15 20 25 30 35 40 45 50 55 peas in a day ain't nobody got time
for that ain't nobody got time for that let me show you a better way these are all little trips
to the water bowl what if we took the same volume of water that they need to drink throughout the
day and instead we let them drink a whole bowl of water in the morning as much as they want
later in the afternoon early afternoon a whole bowl of water two three bowls i don't care as
much as you like what about late afternoon a whole bowl of water i don't know about you man
it's pretty simple math 5 10 15 15 is a lot easier to manage and schedule than 30 45 50 so on and so
forth this is the math y'all if you know when they drank and how much they drank you know exactly how
much needs to come out and exactly when it needs to come out literally down to the minute we cover
this in great detail with schedules designed for every type of dog every age how they're developing
a schedule perfectly designed and can be customized we show you how to customize it inside of our
puppy essentials course now you might be saying what about number two garrett if you're letting
your puppy out to pee at least 15 times a day trust me they're gonna poop one of those times
especially if you know when the food goes in you'll know when it needs to come out it's the
same thing except the formula is more a one-to-one ratio and here's a little secret math for you
almost every puppy on the planet has to poop within about 60 seconds to maybe five minutes
max after they eat so that ain't one hard to figure out i don't know how y'all having trouble
with that moving on y'all let's show you how most owners do it wrong they maybe get the first pp of
the day out they are winning they miss the second one they catch the third fourth and fifth one they
miss the sixth one and so on and so forth at the end of the day your potty training might look like
this good amount of wins way too many losses you keep this going for a few days even just one day
by the end of the first day you've created a scenario where it's at least like a 50 50
percentage or ratio that if they want to pee they can pee behind the couch if they want to pee yeah
maybe they can go outside there's also another spot in the kitchen there's also a spot in your
closet you are creating a habit and dogs are extremely habitual animals they love their
routines and habits so we don't want to form the wrong habit on day one day two continue it
throughout the week this is why you're going down a horrible path and it's hard to recover from that
let me show you the better way because you're following this schedule down to a t this is what
your first day will look like the first bowl of water five successful peas outside you know when
they drink you'll know exactly when they have to pee second bowl of water five peas outside yes
third that's what the first day looks like 15 and oh imagine you repeat it on the second day that's
why we say 48 hours or less you're talking 30 plus peas outside maybe maybe one pea inside wow
winning you're still winning look at the ratio look at the difference if you repeat this for
weeks it's like a thousand to one ratio you're winning you've just formed the habit we're going
to create that pee phobia so where the dog goes man i gotta pee but i've never peed in this house
before somebody let me outside and then you want those clues or those signs that your puppy needs
to go out and pee this is where you'll find it when you've created the habit that the only place
to pee is outside now some of you may be saying and i can see you already typing in the comments
yeah yeah but i've got a six month old two year old dog i just rescued and he's peeing and pooping
all over my house all it is your ratio screwed up they got thousands of wins under their belt
and so you know what to do we've had huge success actually we're a hundred percent undefeated in
this and that is it's the same thing you just need to be just as strict on the schedule and get them
to pee outside and get the pendulum swung back in your favor it's not going to happen in 24 48 hours
but we've seen it happen in just another two or three weeks just follow the schedule i'll tell
you following a schedule is still 10 times easier than cleaning up even one peer poop mess it's i
can't do it y'all been doing this for a very long time it is the bane of our existence as dog
trainers to be cleaning up pee and poop there's so much other fun things i'd rather be doing
than being on my hands and need scrubbing and smelling it now look potty training is just the
beginning of your puppy raising and training journey it's a huge piece but kind of can't be
done on its own in fact potty training and crate training is the other essential element they kind
of go together like peanut butter and jelly you kind of can't have one without the other if we
