Glasnow has solid start, Hernández homers and Dodgers defeat slumping Tigers 6-1

You want to make sure you have is a chance to get the plane off of the ground take off and feel good going into the playoffs. They had that last year. While they didn't hit a ton in the postseason they further to second and there is that ground ball that has defined Valdez throughout his career. It doesn't matter how good you are and it doesn't matter how feeble the opponent is. How many times do you see in a three day stretch the worst team take two out of three from the best team. Got him on three pitches over that curve. Strikeout number five for Tyler Glass now two up and two down in the fifth. Glass now is through five innings on sixty six pitches. Coming from Valdez Hernandez hits it in the air to left center field Callahan's back. It is gone. Teoscar Hernandez turns on a ball and hammers it out. Not only is there icing on the cake there's candles. Yeah opposite field line drive would be icing. This is one of those lit up cakes. Wow. And he knew it in this big ballpark he knew it because he enjoyed every minute of this swing. 0-1. Gets away. Here comes Betts throw from Dingler's lane and he dives in safe. Some really good base running from the Dodgers here Freddy Freeman an example of that. The second and third now the infield stays pulled in for Detroit 1-1 to Muncie. Ripped through the right side that's a base hit that'll score Freddy Freeman. Pinch hit RBI single Max Muncie and they lead 5-1. What is this a cushion? A lot of the trip hasn't added up right hasn't connected where you see how much traffic they have. How few runs. Here's a ball that's blocked and another run will come in. Teoscar Hernandez steps on home and the Dodger offense finding life at the end of this trip. Some they're earning some they're being handed to.
