AI GeneratedThis video provides a step-by-step guide to creating a pizza-style grilled cheese sandwich. By combining traditional pizza ingredients—like marinara, pepperoni, and a three-cheese blend—with toasted ciabatta bread, the creator demonstrates how to make a savory, crispy, and gooey fusion sandwich using various cooking methods.
Hey what's up guys, today I'm going to show you how to make a pizza style grilled cheese
with a little flair. So first up, you're going to take out your soft mozzarella from the fridge,
which is going to be one of the three cheeses used in this grilled cheese recipe,
and just cut semi-thin slices all the way across.
All right, so next you're going to grab a few small loaves of ciabatta bread and cut them
right in half. You can use any kind of sandwich bread for this recipe, I just really enjoy the
texture and the taste of this ciabatta. Once you're done cutting them, you're going to start
layering a healthy amount of marinara right over the top of the cut bread. You can use store-bought
or homemade, depends on what you prefer. But if you guys are wondering how to make a delicious
marinara from scratch, click the link at the bottom right of this video and it'll take you
to just a wonderful recipe. Once you're done with the marinara, you're going to start layering all
the pizza toppings, starting with the cut soft mozzarella that you sliced earlier, some spicy
pepperoni, freshly picked basil, and then the other two cheeses that will be parmesan and some
more shredded mozzarella. Okay, so once you're done assembling the grilled cheese sandwiches,
you can cook them one of a few different ways. One being an oven, another being a pan, and of
course the last being a panini machine like I'm using here, but all require the same amount of
heat and of course the same amount of duration. So if you're cooking in the oven, it should be
about 400 degrees for about 10 minutes. If it's in a pan, it's medium to high heat and you'd flip it
every five minutes. And in this panini machine, it's about medium to high heat for 10 minutes.
All right, so once your grilled cheeses are nice and crispy on the outside and just beautifully
ooey and gooey in the middle, you're going to cut them in half, serve them on a plate, and enjoy
them with your friends and family and just have a simple, delicious, and fun grilled cheese.
All right, there you guys have it. Some delicious sort of pizza style grilled cheese. This is a
really cool recipe. Smells amazing. The three different cheeses are just a really great
combination. The pepperoni is kind of a spicy pepperoni, which I love spice, so that's going
to be a nice little kick to this sandwich. And of course the fresh basil gives a nice little herb
touch to it. So I'm really excited to taste these and tell you guys how they turned out. So let me
dig in. Nice and toasty. Oh, that's hot. That pepperoni is spicy. It's a nice kick. The marinara
plays really good. Just a nice little tomato flavor. A little sweet and savory going on. Very good.
The crispy ciabatta bread, just killer. Really good texture. Has a little sour flavor to it.
Just a good bread. This is a solid grilled cheese. And of course, everybody likes pizza. You just
combine those flavors inside of a grilled cheese and you have a winner. This is a good sandwich.
This was a very fun recipe to make. Really good flavors. Obviously, if you guys like pepperoni
pizza, you're going to like this grilled cheese sandwich. Pretty standard. You know, played with
some of the flavors a little bit, but it's pretty straightforward. Hopefully you guys enjoyed this
