In Love and War

James Stockdale is a US Navy Commander who was held as a POW for over eight years in Vietnam. During his confinement in such camps as the infamous Hanoi Hilton, Stockdale faces torture, isolation, and starvation in an attempt to break his will. Back in the US, Stockdale's wife Sybil works with other POW wives to try to get information on their husbands and inform the world of their treatment.
