We don't have room for these things where we are going...and that news will be REVEALED this weekend.

We are thankful to the new friends we have made in Qingdao and especially for Amelia, my partner in this whole tag sale journey! Without her, this would not have been a success and without her I would not have laughed about something every day!

We are Eileen and Brown Councill. Welcome to our channel and a glimpse into our life adventure! 2020 was a year of uncertainty and change (for all of us, right?), but we overcame the challenges and decided it was time to chase our dream, to sail around the world! Did I mention that we had very NO sailing experience? Before leaving Qingdao, China, our home of 4 years, we sold almost all of our earthly possessions and started our international search to find the right sailboat that we would call "home." After 5 months of unanticipated twists and turns, we found what we were looking for, a used Leopard 44' Catamaran located in St. Lucia.
So, here begins our journey, filled with unmatched excitement and honestly, a bit of trepidation as well. We have much to learn as we travel the world on our floating home and we intend to document that journey and share it with you. We are so glad you have decided to join us, and we hope that you will find our story so compelling that it will inspire you to chase your dreams too!

It's been a crazy 24 hours. We tested the water and put our furniture on the market. Four pieces
sold in the first day. It was our litmus test to see if maybe it was time to go and we're feeling
like it's time to go. This is like really hard okay. Try taking all of your possessions and
things that you've used for years and things that make you snazzy and everything and you know
things that you've collected from all over the world. We're going through this thing should we
really sell all this? Are you going to sell that one? Are you going to sell that one? I mean how many
times am I going to be wearing a coat and towel? We started by only selling furniture. Then we
realized when people were coming in to look at that we could sell all of our other possessions
at the same time. So I was hustling here to lay out jewelry for this particular. Welcome to the
council retail establishment. Now you don't need to purchase anything because you're going to get
whatever's left over you and the guy at the guard gate. So you get first choice.

I've got a massive task today. I need to photograph everything in this nightmare of a space
and put a price tag on it. Our house is a living house sale. It's a bit crazy.
Heck Eileen's even said I'm for sale. Yeah cheap price. Cheap price. Someone just picked up a
couple of our bedside tables and they're taking them out now. Things are moving really fast. It's
amazing. These ladies have been in several times. And then ladies and gentlemen here's pudding.
High quality. Do you like modern? My name is Hans. I am a local in Qingdao,
but I am a winemaker. And this is Cassie. We have our own vineyard and we make wine in China. So
this is my product. But today we come here for shopping. For shopping. We get everything from
this house. And he's warming me up for some good prices with this bottle of wine. He's a very smart
guy. Oh good job. Oh no. Too big. My brother take the uh see the photos and he love it very much.
He called me in the night. In the 10 o'clock and asked me if you have free time to take a bike.
So nice to meet you. Yeah. He asked why would you ever leave a bike like this behind? Why
wouldn't you take it back to America? We just don't have enough room.
It is freaking dashing. That's dashing. I think I'm gonna have those shoes.

So we started the day with all of our furniture and we end the day with none of our furniture.
Well it's been about a month since we started selling our things and we are down to just a few
items left. This weekend's Tukwai sale should certainly take care of the rest. We really
didn't know what to expect when we started this journey but overall the tag sale has been really
positive in its experience. I'm so thankful for my Chinese partner called Amelia because without
her incredible organization and communication no sales would have ever happened. Amelia posted
photographs of every item in multiple places. Chinese eBay and secondhand WeChat groups. From
there buyers either paid for an item immediately and we shipped it to them or they booked an
appointment to come to the house. It could have been a logistical nightmare but it ran like
clockwork thanks to Amelia. We have met so many great people in this process and have many new
friends in Qingdao. This video is dedicated to all of the people who bought things from us and
