Assistant Secretary Tim Walsh visits Oak Ridge National Laboratory as crews begin demolition of Isotope Row, home to 10 contaminated facilities that once supported the laboratory’s isotope program.

Years of specialized deactivation and cleanup have reduced hazards and prepared the facilities for demolition. Their removal will eliminate outdated infrastructure and help create space for modern research missions.
