Hey everybody and welcome to CocoDoc.com. Here you can edit, sign, split, merge, and otherwise
manipulate your PDF files with ease. We're going to have a quick walkthrough of some of the tools
here on CocoDoc in this video, and then in the future I should have some split up videos
separately devoted to each individual tool that will give you a rundown on how to best utilize
and use CocoDoc.com. So without any further ado, let's jump right into the PDF files.
CocoDoc.com does have some freely available functionality, but stay tuned until the end
of the video and we will tell you all about how to start your free 14-day trial. Now sure,
there are a ton of PDF editors out there, some better than others, but one of the major advantages
we get using CocoDoc.com is that it's all online, so no waiting to download and install. In fact,
there's no downloading or installing. It's all right there in the browser.
This is great if you don't want to bog your system down with software you don't use often.
Once you're on CocoDoc.com and you get yourself all logged in, you will be presented with your
files. To add a file from your computer to the list, simply click new PDF. This one is blank.
I created it by covering another PDF and then saving it and renaming it. While adding stuff
to this blank canvas and making my own PDFs is fun, let's look at one I already made.
That's better. So this is just another simple PDF file I created with CocoDoc.com. It has a few
images and a few texts. Notice there's some text already highlighted, but let me show you how the
tools work. First things first, I assume you already have a PDF that you would like to edit,
so let's start with the signature. It's the second tool noted by the pen icon here.
If I click it, I get an option to select whether to type, draw, or upload my signature. I'll be
using the draw option, and I should note the signature of the mouse won't be as smooth because
I'm using a pen and tablet here. If you really want a copy of your exact signature and don't
have a tablet and pen, feel free to take a picture and upload it. You can always just type your name
as well, and it'll give you some fancy options for different fonts. Let's put that in there,
and here's the one that we drew as well. Next is the date tool. As you see, it's quick and
effective. Cross and check are just as simple. Alright, let's add an image now. You do that by
selecting the icon and either picking one you've already uploaded or uploading a new one. Let's
get another one of these DaVinci drawings. There we go, and then we drag and drop and adjust the
size a little. Now, I'm skipping the text, text box, and erase tools, and we'll circle back and
use them together. First, let's test the highlight and blackout buttons. Very simple and similar to
use. Okay, now for the fun stuff. Let's check out that text option. All you have to do is select it
and click where you want to type. It'll wrap around whatever you type, so be sure to hit enter
before it goes off the page. Pretty useful, no? Well, what if you want to replace some text instead?
Let's try the erase button. It'll cover everything with a blank white canvas,
and then we can simply use the text button to replace it. Here, I made the text a little bit
smaller by clicking the lowercase alphabet button. The text box does the same thing and is useful for
creating forms, like this or this. Alright, so we've seen how to edit our file, but what if you
need to do other things to your PDF? Cocoadoc.com has a ton of other useful tricks up their sleeve.
If we head over to cocoadoc.com slash tools, you get a ton of options. There are a ton of tools
here that come in really handy, and one of my favorites is split PDF. It'll allow you to take
a page from a multi-page PDF or a couple pages or all of them and split them out to a separate
document that you get in a handy zip file. Meanwhile, back on the tools page, you find
other handy items like PDF to Word conversion or Word to PDF. JPEG to PDF? No problem. You want to
put several pages together? These tools are super useful. While cocoadoc.com is a subscription
service, you can get a free account with slightly less functionality than the paid version,
which is perfect if you only need to edit a file or two once in a while.
I, however, have contracts to sign, manuals to scour over and edit, bills of sale to fill out,
and a book to finish myself. With all these PDFs flying around, it only makes sense to spring for
the best, and cocoadoc.com is well worth the subscription. They even offer a virtual plethora
of different form templates for almost anything you could need. There are contracts, bills of sale,
rental agreements, and more. And with the tools I just showed you, you can edit them all.
So what are you waiting for? Take that PDF file to cocoadoc.com and handle all of your editing
needs. That's going to be it for this video, guys. Thanks for watching, and I hope this video
has been helpful as well. And don't forget, you can sign up for a free 14-day trial right on the
cocoadoc.com page and get access to all of these great features for 14 days at no charge. So what
are you waiting for? Hop on over there and check it out. There is no easier way to edit and
manipulate your PDF files, and I think you guys are really going to enjoy the ease of use of this
website.
