We Went to ONE PIECE Fest 2026! Shared Reality Dome, Props & More

Hey folks, Joe from Attractions here outside of Cosm Los Angeles for the One Piece Fan Fest here.
We are going to sail the Grand Line, explore all sorts of activations, play some games,
do some photo ops. We're gonna have the opportunity to listen to some of the voice cast of the hit
anime, talk about their experiences, and also go inside Cosm Los Angeles for a special dome show
celebrating the anime and everything about it. I am so excited. Ever since Universal Fan Fest
two years ago, I've become kind of a One Piece fan and I'm excited to explore the Grand Line.
Let's go do it. One of the coolest parts about the One Piece Fest that we ran into was that
it didn't just celebrate the anime, as large of a content mind as that might be,
but also the live-action Netflix show, the manga, and even the trading card game.
From the live-action Netflix show, we were able to see, amongst other things,
complete with its cherry blossoms to inspire hope to the people of Drum Island,
as well as the hat for the live-action chopper. Speaking of the little guy, we ran into him in
the anime Drum Island section a little later on in the day, but we got a quick pick, which was
a lot of fun. But almost as soon as we arrived to Cosm Los Angeles, it was time to hop in line
and get ready for the big show, the Cosm Dome One Piece Spectacular.
So we just sat through the Cosm One Piece Dome show, which started with a montage of every
single episode of One Piece playing all at once. I think there's over 1,200 of them by this point
in a really cool montage that really gives you the scope of what this dome is. If you've never
been to a Cosm, they have one in Los Angeles. They have one in Dallas. I think those are the
two that exist right now. Think of it as the sphere in Vegas, but a little cut in half. I've
been here for sports games before. This is the first pop culture event. I know they show movies
in here too, but this fan fest is really using the multimedia aspect of this to the next level.
It's really impressive. After the show, we got a stamp on our Grand Line stamp rally,
looked at a few things of merch we were able to buy outside in the Grand Bazaar,
took a pic with Luffy and Ace, and then decided to try our luck at the Gachapon machines.
Oh look, I got a Zoro. I wanted a Sanji, but it's alright. Outside, we tried our hand at
some of the games, like Usopp's Sharp Shooting Course, and then looked around the Bazaar. Now
when you see this clip of the line for the One Piece trading card game, it's important to remind
you that it was 103 degrees outside at the time of recording. Having been to the versions in the
Singapore airport, as well as in Shibuya in Tokyo, I was very excited to learn that a One Piece
Mugawara store was opening in Los Angeles this fall. Then we got our spot for the voice actor
panel, where Chopper welcomed us himself. What was that, Chopper? Can I hear you? Hello?
Hello? Hey! Hi there! Oh my gosh. Thanks for waiting on me.
Finally, the night culminated in a concert appearance by Hiroshi Kitadani, the Japanese
singer who sings, amongst other things, the opening theme to One Piece, We Are. What a
rockin' way to wrap up a fun day. Alright folks, that is going to do it for us here live at
COSM Los Angeles for the 2026 One Piece Fan Fest. We had such a great time with all the activations,
the photo opportunities, getting to hear the voice actors panel, and the live concert.
Just an incredible time for a One Piece fan. Looking forward to doing more of this in the future.
So from Joe, have fun!
