This month's Feature Farmer Friday is Old North Farm in Polkville, NC! On just one acre, Jamie Swofford, Keia Mastrianni, and a small team grow seasonal vegetables with consideration, care, and love.

They farm on Jamie's third-generation land, working their produce by hand with organic practices, no synthetic fertilizers or chemicals, and no large equipment, just nutrient-dense produce across each season. Old North Farm also supplies high-quality ingredients to chefs, breweries, and can be found at the Uptown Farmers Market in Charlotte, NC.

They are also home to Broad River Community Market, a nonprofit that grows and distributes free produce to local families.
