Video Summary
AI GeneratedThis commentary criticizes Democratic border policies and the rise of socialist influences within the party, highlighting the human cost of illegal immigration and the political ambitions of radical figures. Additionally, it challenges modern narratives that promote singlehood over family, arguing that true personal growth and purpose are found through the sacrifices of committed relationships.
Open borders at any cost, that's the focus of tonight's Angle.
Their compassion only goes one way.
Family separation, that doesn't make any community safer.
Using isolated criminal cases as a pretext to paint entire immigrant communities with
the broadest and most damaging brush possible.
It's an old playbook.
The Trump administration's chaotic campaign of lawlessness and cruelty is traumatizing
our children.
And yes, I said our children.
Because anyone on this land and certainly in our facilities, we are charged with their
welfare and their well-being.
Oh, of course we want all children cared for, which is why we implore illegals not to risk
Do you ever hear Democrats ever express such love and concern for their fellow Americans
who were brutalized by illegals?
Of course not.
Patricia Fox explained how her life radically changed when an illegal alien grievously injured
her daughter during a hit and run last year in Colorado.
Chris has survived.
He's gone.
But survival and recovery are not the same.
A year and a half later, this is what survival looks like.
Every morning I use a Hoyer lift to raise my adult daughter out of bed because she can't
sit up, stand or get herself up.
Chris can't eat, so I blend her food and I feed her through a G-tube in her stomach.
That's a mother's love.
An entirely avoidable tragedy, which occurred because someone was here who shouldn't have
been here due to a lax border.
The stories were so heart-wrenching today on the Hill that Democrats on the committee
were shamed into offering their sorrow for the suffering.
The stories we will hear today deserve our attention, as do all of the ones that I have
mentioned.
I would hope that this committee would treat the issues that I mentioned and give my sincere
condolences for the horrific injuries that your daughters have suffered.
I yield back.
As a result of Democrat policies.
Well, she yields back forever.
Yes.
And as for Jayapal, notice how different she sounded back in June at a similar hearing.
Unfortunately, this hearing is, uh, it's the fourth time in this committee that we've had
a hearing on sanctuary cities.
The fourth time.
And there's many other things that we could be doing.
And Marcus Coleman, whose daughter suffered horrific injuries after being hit by an illegal,
called them all out.
I reject your guys' sympathy, to be honest with you.
There's no way you guys are sorry.
Not one of you guys have ever called me.
I've never received anything from anybody over here at all regarding my daughter or
my family or anything.
My daughter doesn't deserve this.
She will.
She didn't ask for any of this.
The people that jumped the fence did, though.
They knew exactly what they were doing.
They still chose to move forward in that direction.
And every day something's happening to somebody.
And it is your guys' fault.
I hold each and every one of you responsible for it.
And I always will.
This hearing was riveting from start to finish.
I wish every American could watch it.
Our story shouldn't be partisan.
The lives of American citizens should matter to both sides.
We get it.
You guys hate Trump.
The campaign ads, they're all the same.
Taking the fight to Trump, standing against Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump.
You need to love Americans more than you hate Trump.
Oh, my God, if that doesn't get you, I don't know what will.
Because we let our guard down and millions were allowed to pour into America,
we somehow lost the plot.
Patricia Fox helped us find it today.
Seventy plus Colorado schools are poised to stage an anti-ice walkout on September 4th.
Our kids can't read or do math at a grade level.
They can't tell you what a woman is.
But they can march against the very agency that is protecting our kids from trafficking in fentanyl.
The agency responsible for making sure that what happened to my Carissa doesn't happen to them.
Three words there, blame the parents.
They allow this to happen in the Colorado schools.
But with Democrats in charge, we're going to have a lot more tragedies at the hands of illegals.
But look, they don't care, right?
The Democrats don't care.
They want an open border and they want no one deported ever.
You guys want to talk about illegal immigrants?
So they're just driving to work.
They're trying to be part of the community.
This is what happens right here.
Just says she had to sit there and stop working her job.
I had to sit there and stop working mine.
I'm no longer truck driving.
I no longer make the money that we used to make.
I'm now pinching pennies.
Again, Marcus knows what's going on in the Democrat Party.
His family is just collateral damage to them.
Democrats are desperate to bury stories like his.
I am confused about that, why we're having another hearing on something where we have active legislation.
I'm also confused about why we're not having a hearing about the private prison industry and its detention of so many people who have no criminal record.
She's confused, is she?
What part of their stories confuse you, Deb?
We have private prisons, by the way, only because your party tries to make it impossible for the government to build and run detention centers, lawsuits out the wazoo, protests every night, damage and threats to ICE every single day.
It's a full court press by your party against law and order.
And I'm going to spend every night until the midterm elections to educate the American people about this because you are failing on your job.
Let's not forget, by the way, the so-called conservative think tanks.
I'm not going to let them off the hook tonight who dine out on open borders.
They're just as fanatical.
Should those individuals have been in the United States?
Yes or no.
We should have a legal way to vet them.
Should those individuals have been in the United States?
Yes or no.
We should allow people, not people, those two, Mr.
Beard, those two individuals.
They should have been vetted.
They should have been screened.
Should the screen for what?
Those two individuals were in the United States illegally and then released.
Should they have come into the United States of India?
That we should be deporting people who had no involvement.
You're fine.
Activity or.
I think Trump should reject their endorsement, but I think they endorsed him or support.
I reject it.
OK, they were exposed to it this hearing because it's not about protecting America.
It's about protecting their donors who demand a never ending supply of cheap labor.
There is nothing conservative about that at all.
And the globalists may not admit it, but they're totally fine with birth tourism scams as well.
The more foreigners in the United States, the better.
It's all about money.
Does your business help children of members of the Chinese Communist Party obtain American
citizenship? On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer the question on the
grounds that a truthful answer may tend to incriminate me.
And I invoke my rights under the Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution.
Have you ever facilitated the child birth in America for a member of Trinidad, Uruguay,
MS-13 or any other narco terrorist organization?
On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer the question.
Well, we'll help him provide some answers courtesy of a Chip Roy posting on X.
According to James Comer, Dr.
Vladimir Lorenz is the mastermind behind the group called Have My Baby in Miami.
His operation has delivered roughly 2,000 babies through birth tourism.
So naturally, the man who made a business out of birthright citizenship invoked the fifth
every question. This campaign for the midterms for 2028 should focus, my friends, on one
simple question. Do you believe, do you really believe that America is worth preserving
our borders, our jobs, our traditions?
If so, your vote should hinge on which party, which candidate has a better track record
of defending them.
It's an easy answer, and that's the angle.
She wants to have it all, the kids, the career, the white picket fence, work life
balance. She's running worst kept secret in Washington.
We saw that you made some staffing changes to your office.
Is this to potentially gear up for a 2028 run?
I think that, you know, transitions on teams are a normal part of the job.
You know, August tends to be a natural time and the fall tends to be a natural time for
transitions around the hills.
Change is like the seasons, a natural life cycle.
So this is what it's going to be like to have a woman president.
I think I need a drink.
You feel me, JB?
All right, who's going to help me pass them out here?
Pritzker's now bartender like AOC.
What's he going to do next?
Freeze his eggs?
Gavin's crossing his legs and Hunter, he's in a catfight with Kamala.
I'm asking, why do you think she's not a very good politician?
Well, she was so loyal to your dad and she was, you know, this and that and the other
thing. Well, maybe from your perspective, but maybe not for mine.
How is she not loyal to your dad?
That's between me and her.
You can't just dangle that out.
Sure I can. You know why?
You know why I can't? Because I ain't running for anything, Betty.
I can say whatever the f**k I want.
The Bidens are clearing a lane for AOC.
They want to take out Mamala and weaken the machine so that it crumbles to the
communists. It's already happening.
Obama World's fluffing AOC up for a run.
But she has a few problems.
She's single. She's a woman.
They're owing to and the Michigan Muslim factor.
If Abdul can't win, AOC can't run.
There's no way the power brokers are going to nominate AOC if Abdul can't win the
battleground state of Michigan, where he's from.
This version of Abdul, the doctor who says castrating your kids, dangling is like
circumcision, isn't giving people a warm and fuzzy feeling.
So Abdul, much like Kamala did when she struggled, is reintroducing himself.
I'm Abdul, I'll say it. I'm 41 years old and I'm from Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Oh, my name? Yeah, I love my name.
My people don't know this. It means servant leader right here on my bracelet.
So what's my type? No corporate PAC money, ready to rock for Medicare for all.
I got one goal here on Senate Island, and that's to pass Medicare for all.
And I'm not afraid to step on people's toes.
Abdul's on the market for some love.
Because not too many people want to get in bed with him, especially the Jews.
Turns out they're not crazy about a guy who sympathizes with a synagogue attacker.
Democrat fundraisers are flipping and raising money for Rogers, his opponent, panic
setting in. Now, Abdul speaks Yiddish.
You actually apologized for those comments over the weekend.
Why now, six months after your initial remarks?
Is that the opportunity to listen to folks, learn how it hit them?
I'm grateful for the opportunity I got to spend with my Jewish sisters and brothers.
Abdul has more than just a Jewish problem.
He has a problem with the Messiah.
These people are incredibly dangerous.
Abdul, who, you know, I work with at CNN, I know Abdul, his positions.
On Israel and foreign policy are insane.
And by the way, it offends me because that's, you know, Barack Obama was a part of
creating that iron dome.
So you're telling you're smarter than Barack Obama.
You have better ideas about foreign policy than Barack Obama.
Abdul already lost blacks by a big margin in the primary.
He got beat in Detroit.
They think he's cockier than Barack and they don't like the way he's dogging Michelle
over school lunches.
Why is Abdul always going after people's wives anyway?
Barack's, JD's, he called Kamala nauseating.
A lot of shooting inside the big tent.
Guy's not doing himself any favors in the community.
So now he's begging for forgiveness from the guy upstairs, the God.
Did your politics truly change or did running statewide teach you that some of your
politics aren't politically viable?
I think part of it is you're always being asked about a clip about yourself.
And what I want to do, you know, they say in politics, when you're explaining you're
losing, that's because most politicians are about to explain.
Abdul flew all the way to New York to do a black talk show and boost his chances in
Detroit, then flew back to Motown and did a black roundtable, said, don't listen to
Whitey. I'm no socialist.
The point I make is I'm not a socialist.
I've never called myself a socialist.
People like to call me a socialist.
Right. People like to call me all kinds of things, but I'm for small business and I
want our tax dollars to be spent on infrastructure and small business.
That's what I want. And health care.
Right. And I would ask that you move that message as you're having that conversation.
Abdul threw a pool party the week of the primary, invited every communist in the
country. So the press keeps asking, why are you still hanging out with all these
commies? And he's like, well, I'm just doing my thing.
I don't do cancel culture, I go everywhere, I talk to everybody, I hang out with you
guys, I hang out with Hassan, I hang out with Jesse, Jesse Waters on Fox.
Abdul must think we're pretty close because he did ask me if I was circumcised.
Our assessment, Abdul's out of control.
He lost the plot, careening from show to show and not controlling the message.
Is he even talking about the issues in Michigan?
No, he's just frantically trying to defend himself about who he hangs out with and
what he said in the past and how he's going to pay for stuff.
Talking about people's wives, their personal lives.
He's in the cockpit, that's for sure.
But he's taken a lot of incoming.
Now, I don't know if he survives, but maybe this is just a play to raise his profile.
I have a hunch we might see Abdul on Dancing with the Stars, but his own party in
Michigan won't dance with him.
Will you campaign with Abdul Al-Sayed on the trail?
You know, I am just really focused on listening to the people in Macomb and Oakland
County. When Democrats in Michigan who know their state better than anybody think
you're too hot to handle, that's a sign you got to cool down.
But he's not. He's doubling down.
They're coming at me on fireworks.
I'm like, all right, first of your whole conception of America is that it's fireworks.
I'm so sorry you don't have a complete conception of America.
But even then, right, like what is it I said?
Well, every time we do a fireworks show, it destroys the air quality and people have
asthma, exacerbations and heart attacks the next day.
That's all I was saying. You know, I mean, I'm not saying we shouldn't have fireworks.
I'm just saying maybe like there are other ways to show your love.
Guys running against fireworks on the 4th of July and he's a doctor claiming people are
dying of heart attacks on July 5th.
Abdul's running around saying, I'm just as America as you are, J.D.
Vance. And now he's against how we celebrate America's birthday.
And the only thing is American is the fourth Thanksgiving and the last communist to run
against it. Remember Hong in Wisconsin?
She got slaughtered in the primary.
You don't with Thanksgiving.
I think we've learned that as we sit here, we've just learned that she's not going to be
the next governor of Wisconsin.
If we were writing a sketch.
Yeah. Where they had, you know, OK, you know, we want to really exaggerate this.
What crazy thing that no normal person would ever go for.
Can the Democrats get behind?
No bad ideas.
And then, you know, cancel Thanksgiving.
Democrats are nominating candidates running against Thanksgiving and the 4th of July in
swing states, not in California, in the Rust Belt.
Oh, and this just in Abdul doesn't even believe in the American dream.
See, contrary to what we're taught, that we are the land of opportunity where anyone with
a dollar in a dream can make it.
In fact, too few people have that first dollar.
Economic data shows us that if you want to achieve the American dream, well, you should
move to Canada because it's twice as likely there here where you start predicts where
you end. He's cooked.
Football's racist.
July 4th, dangerous.
And he believes in the Canadian dream.
Guys falling apart.
Most of these commies are trying to hide how crazy they are.
Tala Frico in Texas just got caught saying this.
Go. I am so thankful that you asked this question and also thankful that young activists
have have really drawn the link between climate change and white supremacy and capitalism
in our country. And I think only ending the ways that all three of those oppressive systems
work together. Are we going to be able to begin the process of dismantling them?
That was Frico six years ago saying he wanted to dismantle capitalism and white supremacy.
Got it. It wasn't just some college student on a blog.
He was a state representative in Texas.
His office had to put out a statement today telling CNN James is a proud capitalist.
The Cajun has had it.
I can't answer for these left wing idiots.
I won't tell the Democratic soldiers why you if you hate the Democratic brand so much,
why use our words?
Go call yourself something else.
Call yourself the socialist of America.
Don't put the first word and your title Democratic because that's the party.
That's our party. Don't use our name.
You make up your own name.
The communists are putting the entire Democrat Party on defense when they need to be in attack
mode on Trump. The communists are actually helping Trump and the Republicans.
Introducing the treasurer of the Democrat Socialists of America.
Go. I read a lot of Maoist thought.
I read a lot of Ho Chi Minh thought.
Right. Shout out Luna Oi.
I read a lot of Castro's thought.
Right. Like thinking about these things, examining it and trying to think through how we
conceptualize that here is one of the things that I try to like expand well beyond.
These people aren't trying to work within the system.
They're citing revolutionary dictators who slaughtered millions and declared war against our
country. And what have these people done with their own lives?
Nothing. They went to college and then no one would hire them.
When you talk about socialism here in the U.S., when we look at the demographic of those
voters, they are overeducated and under earning.
Yes. So these are underachievers who are who are jealous of those who want to go and work
every day. Communists don't persuade you.
They never have. They bully you into giving away what you earned, your money, your
property and your pride.
Even Hunter Biden is getting bullied into turning on his own dad.
Can you condemn that? I do know this a hundred percent.
You would say what your dad did was wrong to send weapons.
Did you end up in that? Well, no, because I don't think that.
Let me put it this way.
Come on, Matty. This is the first time an interview we took of any 45 minutes.
You sound like a politician.
OK. In hindsight, it was wrong.
That's hard to watch. And we have watched a lot of Hunter Biden videos.
It's getting vicious. Maxine Waters, no relation, is calling them a plague on the Democrat
Party. These bandits are bloodthirsty.
But the machine so desperate for a win, they're telling voters to hold their nose, shut
their eyes and punch a ballot.
One of the messages I want to give the American people is the Democratic caucus is on
this. We're working to fight back.
Other message I want to give is just go and vote.
Vote for what? We know what they're voting against, but what are they voting for?
Their leader in the House won't even say.
More, can you tell us about the agenda the Democrats will have specifically beyond
accountability, beyond affordability, any specific legislation or any particular
investigations that you will prioritize?
Well, we're focused on winning the election and making the case to the American people.
Hakeem can't say because his agenda is unpopular.
Abolish ICE, Medicare for all, Green New Deal.
None of that's going to fly.
Now, if they win, what they're going to do, they're going to investigate, they're going to
impeach and they're going to shut the government down.
But Democrats running for president like Newsom, Kamala, AOC, that doesn't help them.
That creates problems for them and their campaign.
So Democrats are going to have to calm down their little agenda to tee up their
presidential candidates if they want a shot at the White House.
But that's just going to tee off the commie caucus who want to see blood in the streets.
And that's going to put our friend Hakeem in a very tough spot.
Who does he please?
The bigwigs or the base?
All right, now to our top story, Abdul El-Sayed, not a big fan of the American dream.
If you remember, in fact, in 2023, he seemed to think that Canada is far superior.
Take a look.
See, contrary to what we're taught, that we are the land of opportunity where anyone with a
dollar in a dream can make it.
In fact, too few people have that first dollar.
Economic data shows us that if you want to achieve the American dream, well, you should
move to Canada because it's twice as likely there here where you start predicts where you
end. Pretty shocking.
Now, the same guy also trashes America while praising the community back in his home in
Egypt, the one that he misses so much, the same guy that hates Mackinac Island, the same
guy who's BFF and campaign surrogate Hassan Piker.
He invited him on the campaign trail, proclaiming over and over again, quote, I hate
America. And of course, that America deserved 9-11.
And the same guy, El-Sayed, who just reiterated his hatred for fireworks on the 4th of
July. Why would you hate fireworks on the 4th of July?
I like fireworks on the 4th.
Take a look.
They're coming at me on fireworks.
I'm like, all right, first, if your whole conception of America is that it's fireworks, I'm
so sorry you don't have a complete conception of America.
But even then, right, like what is it I said?
Well, every time we do a fireworks show, it destroys the air quality and people have asthma
exacerbations and heart attacks the next day.
That's all I was saying. You know, I mean, I'm not saying we shouldn't have fireworks.
I'm just saying maybe like there are other ways to show your love.
So why is Abdul El-Sayed running to be a U.S.
senator? Anyway, to represent a country and a people that he doesn't seem to like or even
appreciate. Maybe it's all for his ego.
I don't know. Now, that would explain his hard to watch, very cringe worthy campaign
videos where he tries to be so very cool and relevant, trying to reach young people.
Take a look. I'm Abdul El-Sayed, I'm 41 years old and I'm from Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Oh, my name? Yeah, I love my name.
My people don't know this. It means servant leader.
I got one goal here on Senate Island and that's to pass Medicare for all.
And I'm not afraid to step on people's toes.
Oh, I guess it's about ego or maybe as fellow Democrat Ben Jones is now warning El-Sayed
is looking to implement these insane beliefs.
Take a look at this. Some of the people with the worst ideas in the world have attached
themselves to this thing and are helping to drive this thing.
And just from a purely from a foreign policy perspective, these people are incredibly
dangerous. Abdul, who, you know, I work with at CNN.
I know Abdul. His positions.
On Israel and foreign policy are insane.
They're not reasonable reactions to anything.
All right, now, sadly, he's not the only candidate in Michigan with insane beliefs.
Extremist William Lawrence is running in a swing congressional district.
Lawrence is a social movement strategist who has called for, quote, destroying the American
way of life. He is a big proponent of the Green New Deal.
Was even arrested for chaining himself to machinery at a pipeline site down south in
Texas. Another politician that has a long history of advocating against oil and gas,
the lifeblood of the world's economy.
In a bombshell new report by CNN's K-Files, discovered that in 2020, six gender
Telerico, not as non-binary Telerico, predicted the oil and gas industry was not going to
last. He also referred to capitalism as oppressive and compared it to white supremacy.
He then called on capitalism to be dismantled.
That is insane, really insane.
And just a few short years ago, when Trump was in office, Telerico called capitalism for
it to be dismantled.
No more private property, no more individual freedoms, no more rights, no constitution.
You don't get to pick the president, no more Department of War, no more Senate.
Tear it up, rip it up, burn it up.
Just had full fledged into communism.
And that isn't the, you know, this isn't woke one, as AOC described it.
This is what so many Democrats running now believe.
250 elected since 2019.
We have over 40 running in this campaign cycle.
This is a socialist slash communist party.
They don't love our country.
They want to totally dismantle your way of life.
Scientists say the world's first elevator to space is now closer than ever.
I don't know about you, but that's a hell of a long elevator ride to hold in a fart.
It's a good joke. The British government revealed that over the past few years, at least 100
children under the age of 12 were forced into marriage.
Authorities became suspicious when they noticed all brides were registered at Toys R Us.
Thank you. The NHL's Dallas Stars hockey team won't host Pride Night this season, but in
honor of the trans community, all NHL games will no longer have periods.
You like that one. The official Instagram account for the Burning Man's Orgy Dome offers
advice on how to avoid contracting an STD.
Tip number one, wear a Brian Kilmeade One Nation T-shirt.
Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind behind the 9-11 attacks, will finally stand trial
25 years later.
Why did it take so long, you ask?
Well, they were busy wrapping up the trial of John Wilkes Booth.
He killed Lincoln. Or so they say.
The California sex offender previously busted for sniffing women's butts.
Has been arrested for the same crime again.
And get this, they're already assembling a jury of his peers.
A six foot, 10 inch woman says she wishes people would stop asking tall women, how tall
are your parents?
Well, lady, if you think that's bad, I keep getting, is your dad Peter Dinklage?
And finally, a new study revealed that a motorboat noise can have a lasting negative
effect on fish.
So when boating, experts ask that you keep this man away from large breasts.
All right, that's a great joke.
So a new study found that being single is great for your personal growth.
They figured this out by following young singles around for two weeks.
Wow, I do that and I just get pepper sprayed.
But it was a snapshot of a life stage where you have lots of spare time and fewer demands
than a lifeguard in the Sahara.
They found that people who viewed being alone as a journey of self-expansion were more
satisfied with life, that 82 percent of them relied on friends and family to join them
in these moments of self-expansion.
Meaning that people were simply companions for your growth, but not added
responsibilities, in other words, other people are great as long as they don't get in
the way between you and yourself.
People are just extras for your one man show.
So I got to wonder, is this growth really or is it selfishness disguised as growth?
Is this so-called self-expansion producing actual adults who will stick around and
sacrifice for others or just adults who are really good at describing their brunch while
sneering at parents or crying babies?
Look, it's great to live a life with no strings attached, but like going to spring
break to meet co-eds, it ages with you.
And as for self-expansion, the only thing that expanded when I was single was my porn
collection and dirty dishes in the sink.
This article airbrushes the commitment adverse life of singlehood and soothes people
into thinking that avoiding the demands of loved ones are actually benefits.
Hey, you're alone.
Well done.
It's like when I tell fat people they don't need winter coats.
So.
Let that, hold on.
No, I'm going.
That's a clap situation.
So now being on your own is enlightenment.
Now I can concentrate on being me, which we used to call selfishness, but they now call
growth.
But if selfishness was growth, I would have been six foot nine in my mid-twenties living
alone, eating cold pizza, using coffee filters when running out of toilet paper, having
socks so stiff you can grate cheese with them.
Yeah, that was heaven.
But this is new journalism, a coping industry for those who chose a life they thought
would be fulfilling but hasn't panned out.
It's a feel good about feeling bad article offering therapy to people who regret taking
the media's bad advice.
You know, that meant suck, don't have kids, think globally, ignore locally.
So now you're 40 and alone in a tiny apartment, but that's growth and a wellness
headline. And who needs kids?
Another person adds another burden, wrecking your little museum of you.
There are all those new errands and new concerns and new mornings that you no longer
control. Plus, kids ask questions during R-rated movies.
But isn't that real growth, a collision with another human being?
Take it from me, having kids is great and it's not that hard as long as you make sure
they have water in their bowl.
Thank you. But this piece is no more than a permission slip for those who blaze a trail
where no one is on it but you.
It's for all the mid marketing and media people who put their career first and now have
nothing to show for it. But Instagram posts of a single entree.
If you're already fine being single, that's great.
But humans need other humans.
You can give people a momentary lift by telling them otherwise.
But we already bought that lie, you know, to leave your options open.
Don't settle. Oh, and don't get tied down, a phrase people use when they're scared of
having to do stuff for other people.
But at least they can comfort themselves with this thought, that no one ever succeeded
while having a family except all your ancestors.

And perhaps the only single person in this room or perhaps even in the building.
I don't know if you want to defend this article, but we were both laughing about how
being alone is great as long as you make sure you have friends and family around you.
Yeah. Yeah. It's as long as you're mooching off of other people.
Yes. I feel like did my mother write this monologue for you?
I've heard these similar themes where.
Well, look, it's these publications are never going to write a story
saying settling down and having kids in a traditional lifestyle is great.
They're going to talk to you about why you should die alone.
And polyamory is the way to go out.
And all right. They're never going to do that.
But you can tell because they follow around young single people.
If they really want to get it, they should come follow me around for a while.
Yes. See what I'm eating as I stand over the kitchen sink in my underpants.
Oh, this is what I tell young people.
Get married while you're young, because you'll never be in a better bargaining position.
You'll never be cuter.
You'll never have more leverage.
You can say, well, we'll build a family.
We'll start. I'm fifty seven.
What's what's my sales pitch? Yeah.
How'd you like to get in on the last third?
It's just and I know it's a very New York thing to never grow up,
but I never thought I'd be trying to buy condoms with an AARP discount.
It just makes no sense.
You know, if it helps you, you can always drop my name when dating.
And who would I be getting credit for with that?
Who would that be bringing into the fold?
For the older, more elegant ladies, the ones that don't need condoms.
Biology. Oh, you're against you don't age out of STDs.
The villages is working on it.
So, Aaron, Joe makes a really good point that like these people interviewed
young singles, they didn't interview the people in their age group.
So they're kind of skirting the issue that all the advice
the media gave people for the last 30 years is not panning out.
That's right. Yeah.
And I've never seen a dumber study in my life.
Oh, if you're single and you like being single, it's because you like
being single and you've managed to fill your time with other things.
What a novel concept.
Thank God we stalked people for multiple weeks to figure out the obvious.
Yes. But to the point here that they want you to believe that, yes,
you can do it on your own.
You're totally fine, except you need the other people around you
who still want to hang out with you.
That's the point. Yes.
The point is, even when you're alone, listen, I've gone to concerts by myself.
I go to restaurants by myself when I'm traveling.
I do things on my own. I'm good with that.
But I also don't want to always live my life by myself.
I'm married.
I go do things with my husband and with my friends
because that's what normal people do.
And it's not normal.
Sorry, Joe, to spend your life alone.
In Joe's defense, it's not a choice. Yeah, I don't.
I said it's not normal.
I don't think I ever said it was normal.
I said it's just trying to be conscious of our single friends here.
You know, I bet right now there are tens of thousands
of women watching this show who are going, I want a piece of that meat called Joe.
Right. They'll be lining up.
Right. I'm sure we'll have a handicapped access ramp ready.
Ramp ready. So, Kat, do you think that this might have been an excuse
for a young writer just to try to hook up with young chicks
that I'm going to do a study of our single women and men happy?
I would do that.
You're still doing that, right?
Yes, that's what that's what this is.
I pretend to be a doctor. Yes.
You're not a doctor.
I know. I mean, I've been meaning to tell you that.
I'm really sorry about the diagnosis.
I hate you.
No, look, Aaron's right.
The article wasn't just single.
It was basically single people who are happy being single.
Enjoy it.
It was like people who aren't happy, weren't happy, don't enjoy it.
So it's like what you do in the summer.
I think it's the kind of study they do in the summer
when the real scientists are with their families.
Then the other scientists that aren't really scientists can come in.
But it is really about outlook, right?
It is because I did have the outlook for a very long time
that like I didn't want to be tied down.
But then when I married someone who accepts me for who I am,
I've actually never had more freedom in my life
because I know that I have someone there who's going to have my back no matter what.
We would live together in a cardboard box if it came down to it
and had a great time, have a great time.
So that is freeing in a lot of ways.
But I think, you know, if you are single, then you should, you know,
not want to kill yourself or anything. Yeah.
By the way, living in the cardboard box is not all it's cracked up.
You know, it's funny, I the irony of irony is I once dated a girl
who was into bondage, but she didn't want to be tied down.
That is not a clappable joke.
Yeah. So, Tyrus,
is there anything you can say to make Joe DeVito feel better?
Stop. You know, it's funny is because lonely is lonely.
But, you know, he Joe is an active dater.
Like, he's not like he's he's not like he slept rock, you know,
stuck in his apartment and we have to coax him out with snacks
to get him out of the house.
That's true. To come to the office.
You know, he just is this an intervention of some?
Like I said, when I hear when I hear anyone say I'm happy to be alone,
I automatically think they're not.
Because why would you announce that you're alone?
You don't talk to people.
So you don't need to say, I'm great.
Like people should just see it.
I think this is somebody projecting, you know, because I'm I'm on
I'm alone a lot on the road, you know, and it it sucks.
You know, especially once you have a connection with someone like,
you know, you walk into your empty hotel room and it's like
you got to lay in a bed that other people have more fun than you.
And you're like, there's a lot of stuff, you know, you just.
When I hear someone say like, oh, I'm alone, but they're not alone
because, oh, I hang out with my parents or I hang out with my friends.
No, that's just you just haven't found somebody yet or you're just there's men.
It's different because being having a wife, you have purpose,
you know, and there's a reason why you excel.
You you you bring home the bread.
You you do all these things and you're rewarded for and you have a place
and you have a family and you're the head of the family.
And this is this there's this great sense of pride.
And then when you don't have those things, you're lost.
So when I hear that men are miserable, that are single and alone,
I believe that because it's you have no purpose.
I the one thing that you just don't have.
Oh, my God. I.
He's right there.
But I, you know what?
I, I, boy, he has girlfriends.
I know the man.
He doesn't have a wife.
It's not like he's a leper.
OK, it's not like he has a B.O. problem.
I feel so bad.
He's not Joe Mackey's Joe DeVito.
He gets out.
Can I at least plug my tour dates now?
By the way, I, I, I'm sure there's some eligible young women in this audience.
You sure about that?
I think the whole eating food in his underwear over the sink
thing is going to take a couple episodes to go down.
But it's true.
A man without a man, without a family lacks purpose.
And that's why they're they're lost and angry.
It's also I would I know we have to go.
I think that this is why we have people have a hard time
even understanding stories in the news because they don't have families
like this whole lady who killed her kids.
Hearing people who don't have kids talk about, oh, yeah.
It's like, shut up.
Nobody would have done that.
Yeah, she's a psychopath.
She should be fried like a hot egg on a pavement.
Anyway, but that's just me up next. Dirty.
