Hey, everyone. Robert over here at Steve Schmidt, Ford of Highland. Today, we're going to be taking
a look at this beast of a truck, the 2026 F-250 Platinum. This one's going to be finished off
in this really nice argon blue metallic. Let's go ahead and take a walk around this Platinum
and see what the Platinum trim has to offer and what makes this the ultimate trim for a Super Duty.
Starting up front on this 2026 F-250 Super Duty Platinum, you are going to have that nice
gloss black grille up front going coast to coast with your signature C-clamp style LED
headlights up front. You do have some fog lights right down below with those nice
gloss black tow hooks. You do have your front parking sensors with that lower air dam down
below. You are going to have your blacked off mirror caps up top, part of that nice Platinum
trim. You are going to have your Platinum-specific wheels. This one is going to have the FX4 package,
so it is going to have your slightly larger Bridgestone-style tires. These ones are going
to be those LT275-65-20s with those nice FX4-specific tires. I really like the FX4 package
as it gives you those slightly more off-road-oriented shocks while giving you a little
bit more underbody protection if that's something that you're after. Coming around to the back of
that Platinum Super Duty, you are going to have that nice satin black Super Duty embossed on the
back of that tailgate. This one will have the ability to power drop down that tailgate with
a double-click on your key fob. It's going to have a really nice spray-in bed liner helping
keep that bed protected from anything that you might be doing. If you need to put any pallets of
wood, mulch, anything that you might be trying to do with this truck, you are going to have that
really nice measuring tape put in on the back of this tailgate. That way, if you do need to do
any type of measuring out on the campsite, you can, along with also having this really nice
tailgate step to make getting into your bed a whole lot easier. Once you have everything
packed back up in the tailgate, you can simply just pick it up a little bit and that tailgate
will automatically close up for you, allowing you to go back and continue whatever else you might
have been doing on your trip. I do like the extra steps that they put in the sides of the bumper and
on the side of the bed rail right there, just so that way you can make getting into this vehicle
a whole lot easier. If there's something that you need to get out of the bed and don't want to open
up the tailgate, you can do that. This one is going to have that keyless entry pad. Really nice to see
that, so that way you can still lock your keys on the inside of the vehicle if you're going out
fishing or going out to the beach and want to leave those keys inside. This one is going to have those
really nice power deployable running boards, standard equipment on the platinum trim, and then
this one's going to be just that standard platinum. It isn't going to have the platinum plus, so it is
going to be your black platinum interior with the blue inlays in the center. In my opinion, I think
this one looks a little bit better for the styling of how it looks. I feel like this is a little bit
premier of a looking interior as opposed to the ultimate platinum trim. Going ahead to get this
6.7 liter Powerstroke fired up, you are going to have essentially everything that you would come
to expect out of a 26 model Super Duty. You got your Android Auto, Apple CarPlay with built-in
navigation on your sync screen right there. You are going to have heated and ventilated seats for
both your driver and your passenger with that heated steering wheel. You got a wireless charge
pad with USBs and USB-C ports down there. Trick little thing that they did with this 26 model
and the 25 before it is they changed up how this whole situation works. You usually have two cup
holders right there, but if you slide that over, you make yourself four cup holders up front. If
you need to have a larger drink, if you've got one of those 44-ounce big gulps from Circle K,
or if you like one of those naked energy drinks, you can have one of those sitting here with those
awkward or style designs that won't usually fit in your round cup holders. Just like that,
you can slide it back over when you're done. I like the Super Duty interiors as it's very
similar to an F-150. So if you've been in an F-150, the Super Duty is not too hard to get
used to interior-wise. You've got the same layout pretty much as a Super Duty would have.
Got a 120 house outlet, a 12-volt cigarette style outlet. You got a pop-up there for a hidden
glove box, as well as your standard glove box right underneath of it. You got a really large
center console right here that opens up really deep. So if you need a bunch of storage,
you can store large items down there. Also like that they got two more USB-C ports down there.
So there's tons of charging ports going throughout the entire interior of this pickup truck. Got a
really nice heads-up display right there in front of you. So while you're going down the road,
you don't have to take your eyes off of what's in front of you to look down at your digital
instrument cluster. You have your heads-up display there with all the important information that you
might need. And it does change as you go through your different drive modes. So if you put it into
tow-haul mode, your heads-up display is going to change, showing you that tachometer and all the
important information that you would need to see while you're towing a vehicle. And then taking a
quick little look into the passenger compartment of this 26 F-250 Platinum, you're going to see
that platinum black styling continuing all the way throughout the back compartment for your
passengers. They do have their own rear heated seats for their back passenger and driver with
two stages for both of those. Do have another 12-volt outlet or 120 outlet sitting down there
with two more USB-C ports. And if you go ahead and lift up the seat, you do have a nice lockable
storage right underneath. You can drop it right down there and it'll close up for you and lay
flat if you need stuff to be on the floor. Or simply once you have it down, you can stick the
key right in there and it'll lock that whole seat down for you. So that way, if you need to put a
long gun in there or something that you just don't want people seeing, you can lock that back
there and don't have to worry about it. Underneath the hood is going to be the heart of this truck,
the 6.7 liter V8 Power Stroke diesel producing 475 horsepower and 1,050 pound-foot of torque.
This is the motor that most super duty owners have come to rely on and expect reliable and
dependable power out of. This is that motor that if you need to do camping, any type of heavy duty
hauling, or if you just really want a dependable motor that's going to give you reliable power and
torque every single day, day in and day out, this would be the motor that you'd want to take a look
at. And another reason why the Platinum Super Duty is a Platinum Super Duty for a reason.
All righty, that's going to conclude the walk around of this 2026 F-250 Platinum,
finished off in this argon blue with that FX4 package. It's got a nice twin panel moonroof in
the inside, and this one did come equipped with that high capacity towing upgrade as well.
So definitely something that can get all the towing done that you'd ever need it to do,
while looking good on and off the road, getting it all done at the same time.
I'd like to know what your thoughts are on this F-250 Platinum. If this is something that you'd
be interested in, if you were in the market for a vehicle, or if maybe a Lariat or King Ranch might
do it for you. I know those Lariat and King Ranches have a lot of features and options as well,
and sometimes this Platinum might be just a little too much for some people. So I'd like to know what
your thoughts are down below, if this is something that's right up your alley, or if maybe you'd be
in the King Ranch or a Lariat. If you're in the local Highland area and in the market for a Super
Duty, go ahead and give me a call. I'd be happy to show you this vehicle or any of the other ones
that we have on our lot available. I upload every Wednesday, every Friday, and every Sunday at 1pm,
so go ahead and subscribe for more Ford Walkarounds, and I'll see you all in the next video. Bye.
