I Gave This AI a Job, Then Left. Here's What It Did Without Me.

Every AI tool has the same three words, set it and forget it. I guess that's, that's four words actually. But a week ago, I gave an AI agent an actual job with actual rules. Then I closed my computer and went and lived my life and just wanted to see what it did. So this is a drop shipping AI agent called Doba pilot. And I set it going last Friday and I didn't touch it again until this morning. And the work was all done and waiting. And it did a pretty good job. I want to show you the results of this. There was one thing I needed to go take a second look at, but let me show you what it did. So I've done a few videos about Doba pilot, this AI agent for drop shipping been making a lot of changes. So the most recent one is they now have this skills page and it's the whole product laid out as a list of jobs that you can hand over. So right now they have 22 skills in four different groups, connecting to a store, finding products, writing the listings, running the day by day, pretty much anything you need for e-commerce in general, but specifically for drop shipping. So, and a lot of them are live now. A lot of them are coming soon. So like right now you can connect Shopify, Wix, BigCommerce, eBay, Walmart, and TikTok shop. There are launching Amazon soon and Timu soon. So that should be pretty interesting. Definitely when Timu is released, that would be an interesting video I'll be doing. Then they have all these sourcing and research skills that you can use these listing and marketing ones. And then operation ones like AI support is an interesting one. And again, more to come and they're launching more and more each and every day. And the one I really want to test today is this scheduled task skill because I love just things happening automatically. And so a scheduled task, you schedule it, then you don't have to do anything. It's automatic. What I really want to focus on today is this scheduled link here, because what I love about AI is just when it does things automatically it takes work off of my plate. And so scheduled tasks are a way to do that. They just happen automatically. I don't even have to have my computer on or anything. So I love that. So I want to check that out. So a week ago I created this scheduled task, find new pet supplies on DOBA that match my conditions under $30, at least 25% profit margin and in stock, push the matching products to me. So I just want it once a week. You can set, you know, how often you want it to run, what day, what time. So every Monday at 9am, I want it to do this. Find new products. You know, I have these, I got a Husky, so I have these pet supply drop shipping stores now because I know how much people are willing to spend on pets. So I think that's a good category. And so I want every, I have the products, I did the research, but I want every week to find if there's new products I should be listing. You know, this is a trends change and what people are buying change what suppliers have available profit margins, those things all change. So I don't want it to just be something static where I did the research once and then it's just up there forever. But I want weekly for this to be refreshed, you know, find new products and show me if anything matches my criteria. So, and again, your tasks are just what you would say to a human. So if I had an employee that I was like, Hey, here's what I want you to do. I just say that same thing to AI. That's how AI works best when you communicate that way. So, and this will show all the times that it's ran. So I set it up on the 21st, which was a Friday. And then Monday at 9am it did run here. And again, I just love it. Did this while I was not even around, I didn't even think about it until later I came. I was like, Oh yeah, I had that scheduled task going. And I love scheduled tasks too because you don't have to wait for them. You know, a lot of times with AI, it can take a few minutes to do the research and get everything done. And so, you know, I type get, get a AI going on something and then working on other things. I kind of, sometimes I forget to go back and I have to wait and it's just annoying. But with a scheduled task, it's just there. It was ready for me when I was ready to go look at it. So it found nine products. So when I click view details, it didn't just give me nine products, but it gives all the info that DOPA pilot usually gives on products. A lot of good info on that. Again, would have taken me a long time to go look at myself. So first it shows the demand signal. So it's the category that I want. It's the price range I want. They have them in stock and there's a high profit margin. Then it tells me about the supplier. So again, that's important. How long have they been open? Cause again, I'm not, you know, three months. That's a little risky. I don't know about that supplier yet. And then I'm always looking at this fulfillment rate, which anything over a 95% I think is pretty good. A hundred percent being open for 3.6 years. That's pretty incredible. So that's a supplier I would really be interested in. And then you want to keep an eye on this refund rate. 1.22% is a little bit higher than what I would normally want to see. Again, these guys open for 1.5 years and 0% refund rate. That's, that's better. And then 3.45%, that's, that's a little bit concerning, although I like their fulfillment rate. Oh, and I don't have to wait until Monday. I can run this now. So it's only one credit to run this report. So I will just get that going in progress and we'll see if anything's changed from Monday until now. It's Friday now when I'm recording this. All right. So I was a little concerned cause I ran this and then it said failure and I was like, Oh no, I'm trying to demo this. It didn't work. But when you click on it, the reason it says failure is because it said there was no new results. So since I ran this just a couple of days ago, since then there's nothing new. So it's not actually a failure. It's just saying, Hey, there was no new products. So that's good to know. So next thing I wanted to do was I wanted to check out eBay because I actually sell quite a bit on eBay. I have an eBay shop. Um, so I thought, Hey, this would be great. I'll connect my eBay account here. So I got Doba pilot going on it, but I found out this agent can't actually connect itself to eBay. So this is just something to keep in mind when you're dealing with agents is they can only do so much. They don't have access to your stuff. So when you're asking them to do something with your stuff, they can't just go and connect to eBay without you, you know, taking the steps to make that happen. So instead of actually connecting to eBay, it told me how to connect to eBay. So I'm going to do that another day. In fact, that might be a good video in and of itself because I do have a eBay store and I just kind of want to show a lot of you that might be interesting to you. Make sure that all your orders actually shipped correctly and then a canceled order guard.
