3d printed mask - facemask - ventilator - for Personal Use
PLEASE BE AWARE: even if using the anti-microbial filament i talk about in the video, your mask will need to be sanitized and washed. the reason for the anti-microbial filament is to facilitate cleaning. standard pla allows microbes to build up between layer lines and is impossible to dissinfect, meaning it can only be cleaned once or twice. the anti-microbial filament will extend the life of the mask by allowing you to sanitize it repeatedly, by preventing build up of undesired microbes between the layer lines.
the most important part of this mask, and what determines the level of safety you receive, is very simply, the filter material you choose.
In this video we will go over 3d printing your own face coverings for protection from spreading/contracting COVID-19.
IMPORTANT: i am in no way saying this mask will prevent coronavirus. but it can hurt, and at the very least, it will keep asymptomatic people from spreading the virus further. please use your best judgement with all things related to covid-19, and stop getting information from youtube.
if you would like to know more about coivd-19 without politics or bias, please visit the cdc website, whos job it is to handle diseases, and follow their guidance!
