Hey friends! I feel like it's been so incredibly long since I have posted a video on here.
I mean, it has been. So if you clicked on this video and you were watching,
thank you so much for coming back and supporting my channel and being here and being a friend to me
and yeah I just really really appreciate it and I appreciate you.
So I haven't had much motivation to post anything and I've been pretty stressed because I've quit
my job and I'm doing art full-time and it's pretty terrifying. Now I am no longer just
painting to paint. Now I have to... I don't know, it feels more like it's a job because it is my
means of income and although it's still the only thing I want to be doing, it's just a lot more
stress on doing something that I used to do just for fun and just for me. So I've been trying to
figure out ways to get... break through this and be happy with where I am and the process of things.
So I've been implementing little things here and there throughout my day to
kind of help me notice how blessed I am and appreciate things that most people would find
mundane like making myself a really nice cup of coffee, an iced latte, and doing something this
small for myself. I'm treating myself. I know I'm worth it and it gets me so excited for the day now
when I get to be at home and make myself something this special. Another thing I like to do is just
look outside the window because when you're a child everything is so amazing to you and
that's something I'm trying to implement as an adult is viewing things like I would view them
for the first time. Something else I love to do when I don't feel motivated is to read
my motivational quotes and I write them in this book right here and I try to make it
cute and intentional so that way it has purpose but these quotes they keep me going. They always
keep me going and this is something I definitely recommend if you don't have a motivational quote
book already. I've been at loss of what to create on this channel and mostly that's because of my
art studio setup. So my art studio is a total mess because it's just for resin and there's nowhere
for me to paint in there except on my easel but for some reason every time I walk into this room
it's cold I can't run the air and it's away from everything in the house and I feel so alone down
there so I decided to try to motivate myself by moving a painting space out into my house.
I added some fig plants because I think plants just really liven my life and I don't know I
just wanted to be surrounded by plants like I was in my old apartment and I loved that
setup so much so I'm gonna try to recreate that a little bit here.
I can indeed confirm that painting in a new environment motivates you because
I felt instantly happier just being in front of this window, being able to look at the snow outside
and having the plants directly in front of me, my space stuffed to the right of me. I don't know I
think it's just because I haven't painted in this room before and it felt very motivating so
if you're kind of in a rut and you don't want to paint because of your space consider moving.
I actually went ahead and I bought a six foot table this day because I decided I wanted to
put it in this room so I could lay out a bunch of paintings and paint some more.
If you're wondering the type of medium I'm using, I'm using oils and if you're wondering what's on
my hand, that is for pain in your hand. I got this from Amazon and I'll link it below for you guys
and I don't really, I'm not, I haven't been using it long enough to notice if it's actually helping
but I like to think that it is.
If you are still on here supporting me, I just want to say thank you so much.
Your support means the world to me. You've seen me grow from the beginning to where I am now and
it's so great to have people along the journey with you and it just helps me want to keep going.
I still do get stuck on what to post on this channel. I'm still struggling with that.
I just feel like I've posted so much and I'm kind of out of ideas which is why I started making
more creative content on my other channel but yeah I still do want to post here. I still want
to help you guys out if you need anything or if there's anything I can help you with, help you
grow as an artist, you know that's what I'm here for. So if you guys have any suggestions of videos
that you would like me to make, please feel free to drop a comment below.
Principal thing is that when working I want the assurance that the work will not die with me,
that I shall have heirs and that I have not got. Imagine the situation of a man who knows in
advance that children born of him and of the woman he loves will not be. Don't forget the lovely
things we plan to do today. Thanks so much for making it to the end of this video, if you made
it this far, oh my gosh, I'm so awesome of you and I guess that's it for this one. I really hope
you guys enjoyed watching this process of creating this oil piece and that this gave you some
motivation to spice up your space a little bit. All right friends, I will see you all in the next one.
