NVIDIA's Jensen Huang Today On NVIDIA, Hugging Face, OpenAI, Anthropic, NVIDIA Stock - NVDA Update

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, Hugging Face CEO Clément Delangue, and CNBC's Becky Quick discuss NVIDIA acquiring Hugging Face, open models, OpenAI, Anthropic, and more. Today, NVIDIA announced they have agreed to acquire Hugging Face for ~$12.93B. The two companies will scale Hugging Face's platform, strengthen its infrastructure, and expand access to AI for developers and institutions worldwide. According to NVIDIA's press release today, over 18 million developers, researchers, and creators use Hugging Face to share more than 3 million models, 500,000 datasets, and 1 million applications. More than 200,000 companies use Hugging Face to discover, evaluate, customize, and deploy AI models. This acquisition is a big deal. I also think that this acquisition makes a lot of sense strategically from NVIDIA's perspective. NVIDIA says Hugging Face will remain an open platform for the entire AI ecosystem. Looking ahead, Jensen Huang is scheduled to speak at a conference hosted by Goldman Sachs on September 10, 2026. We have Micron earnings on September 30, 2026. And then Jensen is scheduled to deliver a GTC keynote at GTC Berlin on October 21, 2026. I continue to be bullish on NVIDIA long-term. NVIDIA has multiple large long-term growth opportunities in front of it. Sovereign AI, enterprise AI, AI-native startups, physical AI, and quantum computing are all large long-term growth opportunities for NVIDIA. Blackwell Ultra has ramped quickly and remains in high demand. Vera Rubin is rolling out to customers. NVIDIA Groq 3 LPX is in full production. We're expecting Rubin Ultra in 2027. And later on, we're expecting NVIDIA's Feynman in 2028. We have a clear datacenter product roadmap extending into 2028, and Jensen Huang believes there will be $3T-$4T of global AI factory buildout annually by the end of the decade.
