We got a wonderful water park here, Great Stirrup Cay, and can you kind of walk us through what
guests will expect and what they will see as they walk through the water park? Oh absolutely,
I'm happy to do so. So as you get off our tram, so you'll be picked up from the pier, you're going
to get to the beautiful water park, and then you'll be dropped off at the Arrival Center. As
you're walking through the Arrival Center, just as you look down the road, you're going to see
a beautiful Splash Cay, which is the splash pad for younger and older adults. It's a lovely
attraction comprised of eight different slides, so you have eight slides there in addition to
several dozen water toys, so fun for all ages. I mean, I was a testament yesterday to see
kids playing and adults having a lot of fun going down those slides, so there's something for
everyone there. As you're walking to Splash Cay, you're looking to your left, you're going to see
Tidal Tower. Tidal Tower is comprised of eight different rides, which has two body slides, it
has two mat racers. You're also going to have the first of its kind in this area, the Nautilus Ride
on the second level, and on the third level you're going to have our very amazing Breakwater Blaster.
Most of the slides you see in the water park really do let gravity take you down a slide.
This one's really neat because it's a combination of gravity and several propulsion or pumps
to get you back up, so it's very much like a roller coaster. You're coming down and you have
propulsion getting you up, and it does it a couple times along the slide, so you don't know
what to expect as you're coming around the corner, and there's one part that I really enjoy,
and I'm hoping you can all experience it because it's a dueling ride, so you're going
with another raft, and typically you are side by side, but there's one point on the actual slide
where you're actually seeing each other cross, which is really neat. I thought that was an
experience that kind of puts it together. You can kind of see either your wife, your kids,
or your brothers and sisters, you can kind of see them on the other raft coming across,
and it really complements the overall experience. So what can you tell us about the next slide down,
Tropic Spiral? Oh that's going to be a great, that is a great slide. It's the first of its kind,
it's a Nautilus ride called Tropic Spiral. The great thing about it is you get on your slide,
you're on your raft, and you reach these bowls where you know how you're coming in, but that
bowl is going to get you to a 90 percent, 90 degree slant, at which point you're free-falling,
you feel the g-forces as you're coming back. The nice thing about that one is you really don't
know how you're going to be coming out. You know how you came in, you came in face forward,
but you could be going out backwards. And there's two of those, so you could go halfway backwards,
and then switch back to forward. Correct, or you can go the whole way backwards, which is,
which is great. I mean it just brings a lot of excitement, and it's something to look forward to.
And then that's a one of its kind? It is, it's a first, it's a first of its kind, and it's the
first in the world at this time. And then there is one slide where you do need to carry a mat up
with you. So on the, on the first level you have four slides, two of them are the mat racers,
so literally you're going to have the traffic light, and you're racing the person next to you,
you're carrying up a light raft, and it is very fast. So it's a lot of fun, a lot of excitement.
As you come back from the tidal tower, and if you start heading west, if you will, you'd make a
right, you're going to pass Splash K, which is absolutely gorgeous, and on the right-hand side
you're going to have the adventure area. You're going to have the cliffside cove, which is a 10
and a 15 foot jump, a cliff jump, which is, it's really for the daring, it looks a lot taller than
it is. And then you also have something for the family, so we have a family ride, or a family
slide, comprised of four, your whole family can get on it four at a time, you get down,
it's a lot of fun. And as you keep going in the adventure area, you have the drop slides,
it really, again, another one for the adventurous. These are two adventure, two slides,
one's going to drop you off roughly about four feet above water, the other one's dropping you
off about six feet above water, which is great. You've got to plug your nose when you're going
down, because if not, you can get some of that water in. Coming out of the adventure area,
you do have the food venue, we have amazing trailers, food trailers, food trucks, that has
either dessert, ice cream, delicious ice creams, or you have the barbecue trailer, and to the right
of that, you're going to have the seafood trailer, so there's something for everyone on the island.
And more to the right of that, you're going to have the complimentary area, so it's a complimentary
dining option. As you get out and you continue to circle around the park, you're going to find
the Wandering River, or the Not-So-Lazy River, as we call it. You'll be able to gain access to the
river, pick up your raft, and really enjoy a fast traveling, really, it's a fast moving raft
that gets around, and you get to experience the immersive tunnel. You're going to see a lot of
sea life, and it depends on what we're changing, so the interactive changes every four minutes. It
takes about five and a half minutes to go all the way around, so you're never going to see the same
interactive play as you experience the river. So you're going to have a lot of sea life,
and it is fascinating the way the engineers were able to work it out, where you can kind of see
from one screen on the left, you can kind of see the fish, or the squid, or octopus, all kinds,
jellyfish just going right over you, and you have screens above you, you can also experience that.
That together with the sound effects, the music, it really complements and completes the experience.
As part of the Lazy River, there's a little side area you can swim off to. Can you tell me about
that? Oh, absolutely. That's probably my favorite part, and for a lot of us adults, it's going to
be our favorite part. So we have a bar on the side as you come in, where you can stop,
get refreshments, have a drink or two, and then continue on the river if you like. And can you
tell me a little bit about the process of getting into the water park? So it is an extra cost,
and you have to book ahead, or? Correct, it's a shore excursion. In essence, it's just another
shore excursion. You can book ahead your cruise, and there will be availability to book on the
ship as well. Do you expect people will spend the whole day there, or half a day, or? There
is enough activity to keep you busy the whole day, but that's the wonder of building a water
park in the beautiful bohemian waters of a beautiful island. You can decide to have half a
day, and then if you want to lounge the rest of the day at the pool, you can do so. You can enjoy
the white sand beaches, or you know what, just relax around in a cabana at Silver Cove if you
like. So there's something for everyone at the water park at Great Shore. Okay, thank you.
