Well, I'm talking to Sophia here. Sophia, what's the name of your company?
Hello, the name of my company is Crystals Maya.
And you're here every year at the Tucson Gym Show.
Let's walk down this aisle here, and you tell me about some of these crystals. Where do you pick them up at?
These are our top quality quartz, and over here we have our Phantom Lemurians.
It's our top-grade material at the moment.
Phantom Lemurians.
Very beautiful.
We have some natural pieces. Phantom Lemurians are very hard to find in Brazil right now.
The mine stopped producing for a while. We find them in the state of Bahia.
And here we have some clusters too.
Wow, that's beautiful.
Beautiful.
And this?
This is citrine, not heated, natural.
Yes.
More Lemurians. Our biggest material that we bring are Lemurians.
Over here we have some smoky quartz. More Lemurians.
Here we have some chloride phantom inclusions on quartz.
Ooh, that's beautiful.
Yes.
Very beautiful.
Lemurians. These are all natural clusters.
Here we have Lemurians with lithium, and then they get this pink tone.
Oh, that's nice.
Very interesting.
More phantoms.
Here, more phantoms. White ones.
And over here, black ones. Like this.
Oh, that's very nice.
Yeah. It's graffiti.
What is that?
Graffiti.
Oh.
Yeah. Super interesting.
We also have some bigger pieces out here.
Wow.
Sofia, what do we got here?
This is smoky quartz. The black inclusions are black tourmaline.
And the clear ones are titanium.
Ooh.
Here we have some iron dioxide, and it's a beautiful piece filled with rainbows.
It's super, super interesting.
We have this piece. It's 711 kilos.
Clear quartz, and on the top we have chloride inclusions on it.
It's a gorgeous piece.
This one is sold. Gladly.
Oh, you sold that right away, didn't you?
Wow.
Let's walk through here. What's this black material here?
This is black obsidian.
Over here we have clear quartz, more Lemurian, amethyst, tangerine quartz, also from Brazil.
Ooh, that's pretty.
Yes.
Nice points.
Very nice. We have rose quartz.
Pink Lemurian, because of the lithium, they get pink.
So it's super interesting.
More Lemurians, and more smoky quartz.
Well, thanks, Sofia.
Manuel, this skull is beautiful. Where is this made at?
This is made from Peru. It usually is used.
The superior part, it's natural, but then the under part, it's usually made by artisans in our country.
Okay, and then what do we have over here? This is...
This is a snake involved with crystals.
The people in my country took advantage of these big crystals, the big and beautiful crystals, and then they created a snake.
It's a beautiful piece.
In what country?
In Peru, in South America.
This is all Peruvian.
Yes.
Let's look at this big skull over here.
Oh, this one here, it's one of the most, one of my favorite pieces here.
It's pyrite. We have a lot of them here.
It's literally the principal stuff we sell, at least from the part of Peru.
And I don't know what to tell you. It's a big, heavy piece. It's made from the cementations.
And, well, I don't know what else to say.
Well, it's beautiful. What's something like that cost?
Oh, my God. As you can see here, the price is 5,000. It's really expensive.
5,000. How much do you think that weighs?
Oh, my God. If I, I mean, my bag, remember, said it's like more than 15 kilos.
Wow.
It's beautiful.
I'm talking to Pedro here from the Jad Miner Gym Show.
And, Pedro, what are these points right here?
This is a bogey. It's a bogey of praseolite.
Praseolite is a green amethyst from the south of Brazil.
The form is bogey because it's created by a person whose last name is bogey.
It creates this piece with two faces.
It's for something of the energy and this.
This is a citrine, natural citrine from Brazil.
Oh, natural citrine.
Yes.
Beautiful.
And you put this, what is that?
It's bogey. We put it this for protect the points.
Protect the points.
Yes, that's very good.
Thank you, Pedro.
Pedro, what's this skull made out of?
This skull, it's a smoky quartz.
It's hand-made by a person in Brazil, in Valadares, in the region of Valadares in Brazil, in Bahia.
Wow, that is really...
And it's hand-made all in this skull.
That is really something.
It has this and this.
And this side has a very small one.
Oh.
It's a smoky quartz.
Oh, yeah.
Wow, Pedro, what's this tree made out of?
Yes, this tree is made by an artist in the south of Brazil, in a city, the name is Rosario in Brazil.
And the name is Mary Laurentino of the artist.
It's all hand-made.
This is made of gold.
The quality of the stones is really, really, really high.
And the base and the wood is all inside this metal structure.
And then he put the final work here.
Is this citrine?
Yes, it's citrine.
All citrine.
We have citrine, amethyst, and aventurine.
And different sizes.
We're talking to Didi here with H&G Gems and Minerals.
And he's unwrapping stuff right out of the barrel that's going to go on the shelves.
Let me see what you got.
It's like Christmas.
Yeah.
Those are citrine.
Look at that.
Nice piece of citrine.
That is beautiful.
Natural.
All from Brazil.
Yes.
Very nice.
That was Lodolite with the white.
That was citrine with the black routine inside.
Let's see what you're unwrapping now, Didi.
Let's see.
Look at that.
Nice smoking quartz.
Fresh out of the barrel.
Very nice.
I have another one.
Yes.
It's a nice citrine with the gold routine inside.
Oh, I like the way it sparkles.
Yeah.
Very nice.
It's a nice piece.
Thank you for showing me that.
A $35,000 skull.
So I'm talking to Matt here from African Trading.
He's out of Zimbabwe.
Matt, what's this material here?
So this material here is Serpentine.
We have some Butter Jade.
We have some Lipidolite, which is almost impossible to get out anymore.
The official name is Lithium Mica, but it's very difficult to export at the moment.
Wow.
And these rhinos?
So it's mostly all Serpentine, but Serpentine comes in a variety of colors.
You know, what we call Fruit Serpentine.
You get Black Serpentine, such as this hippo.
Oh, that's nice.
You get some very light ones.
If it has a high chrome content, you get this beautiful chrome green on here.
I don't know if that's coming out.
And that's called Verdite.
It's a variety of Serpentine, but just has a high chrome content.
Oh, okay.
And then we have some Dolomite, which is this beautiful white stone.
All from Zimbabwe?
All from Zimbabwe.
Do you want to see something cool?
We had a shelf collapse the other day, but this is also Dolomite.
Just makes a beautiful polar bear.
Wow, Dolomite from Zimbabwe.
Correct, yeah.
It's a beautiful white stone.
Obviously not the nose and the eyes and the claws, but yeah, the whole stone is Dolomite.
Well, Matt, I'm looking at this gorilla here.
That is beautiful.
Thank you.
And what is that made out of again?
This one's Serpentine.
This is Black Serpentine.
And so everything we sell is hand carved by the indigenous people from Zimbabwe.
Particularly the Shona tribe, and they're very well known for carving and their ability to carve.
So this is a beautiful example of how Serpentine can come in a variety of colors.
See how it's green?
It has a green tinge to the bottom here.
It turns into an orange-yellow here.
And up here you're getting some rusty red or some maroon color.
All from the same stone?
One single piece of stone.
So I'm talking to John here from Enchanted Designs, and John, what's the difference between that?
Analyte and Ammonite.
So Ammonites are the fossils themselves, when you have the whole creature.
And Ammonite is the gemstone.
So once it's cut into a gemstone, it is Ammonite.
And Ammonites are the actual fossils.
So the L in Ammonite comes from the Greek word Lith, which means stone.
So Ammonite literally means gemstone of the Ammonite.
Very good. Thank you.
Good morning.
How are you?
I'm fine, thanks.
Wow, you have some beautiful stuff here, Carol.
Thank you.
The name of your company is?
Sissoko.
And most of these beads are made out of stone?
I have glass and stone.
But originally made in Italy and then traded to the Africans.
They're all antiques.
Oh.
Wow.
Amber, Ammonite, Granite, Chevron, Aerial beads.
It's all natural amber here.
What is this?
Amber.
Amber?
Natural amber.
Wow, look how big this is.
And where do you get the amber from?
Amber comes from Mali.
It's all from Mali?
Yeah.
Wow.
Natural amber.
Amber comes from a lot of different areas.
Yeah, that is beautiful.
So, Sambu, what do you have here?
Well, that's a beautiful piece.
Oh, that's something you want to hold on to.
And is that made in Mali also?
Very good.
How long do you think it took to make this?
No, this is not a big deal.
Just start cutting and after polishing it will be like a week.
Really?
Yeah.
It turned out really beautiful.
So we have a $68,000 carving here out of pure crystal of two dragons.
And it's on a revolving stand.
And it is quite remarkable.
Yeah.
All right, I'm talking to Kapel here.
I'm looking at his wonderful carvings.
Kapel, what's the name of your company?
Just look at this right here.
What is that?
It is beautiful.
Now, let's go on over here and look at some of these others.
This blue one is lapis lazuli.
This is from Afghanistan.
This material is from Afghanistan.
Let's look at those in the back there.
Yes, please.
Okay.
This is a red sodalite.
And this is a green aventurine.
This is a yellow aventurine.
And this is a ruby geocide.
This is a lapidolite.
And this is a ruby kyanite buddha.
Oh, that is beautiful.
And this is a rose quartz.
Beautiful stuff.
What's going on here?
This is a Ganesha, the sovereign.
The Shiva lingam.
Lord Shiva's son is Ganesha.
Okay.
I always get a lot of questions from people about big pieces like that.
How much they cost.
So I always like to explore.
This looks like you can get a haircut in this chair.
And get crystal healing at the same time.
So I'm with Stephen Buchbinder from Buchbinder Crystals.
Stephen, where did you get this crystal chair at?
This amethyst chair comes from the south of Brazil.
A place called Ametista do Sul.
Which is where most of the amethyst comes from in Brazil.
It's a city that lives on top of amethyst mines.
It's a pretty incredible city.
And we came up with the idea of making pieces that you could actually sit in.
Or crystal furniture.
So here's a really nice agate amethyst chair.
