Waterjet Channel: Can a Salt Knife Cut and Season a Steak?
2 Video Views·Sep 5, 2026
Will the salt knife be able to cut the steak?
We have our steak.
It's definitely taking a little bit of sawing,
but it's working.
And it's seasoning the whole way through.
That's a rare steak.
Let's cut off our slice with our salt knife.
So this piece is purely cut with salt knife.
Now, we need a control,
so we'll cut off a piece with a normal knife.
So now it's time to taste them
and see if it actually makes a difference.
But I do need an assistant
to make sure I'm not just making things up.
Miss Waterjet, would you please join me?
Thanks for coming.
So we're gonna try these pieces of steak
and you're gonna tell me if there's any differences.
Is this a test?
Sure.
Now, first, try this one.
Okay.
Did it seem like there's any seasoning on it?
No.
Okay.
Let's try this one.
Oh.
Oh, wow.
What did you do to that?
Salted.
Making my eyes water.
That's the culprit.
That is the culprit.
Very salty.
It works.
Is this all I'm getting for dinner?
Yeah.
Do you think if you cut yourself with this,
it would sting and disinfect your wound?
Salt your wound?
I think so.
I would've never imagined
that that would happen either.
It's fragile.
Don't put that in the video.
Worst part is we didn't get it on camera.
Thank you for coming.
That's what she said.
