COLORADO: SOLO ride from GATEWAY to OURAY and my first MOTORCYCLE SERVICE

A motorcycle ride through Colorado, from Gateway over Naturita, Norwood, Ridgeway, Montrose to Ouray - including a desperate search for a motorcycle workshop! Due to the accident on the White Rim trail the ways of my little travel group split up much earlier than expected - and I was back on the road solo to continue my journey across the USA all the way to Miami. The ride from Gateway to the town Naturita on Highway 141took me through the Dolores river canyon for most of the way, and followed the Dolores and San Miguel rivers with its smooth sandstone walls and roaring waters. I was traveling on the so called Unaweek Tabuach Unaweep Tabeguache Scenic Byway. The scenery for the first time since leaving from Los Angeles changed completely. Instead of burning heat the sky was covered with clouds, temperature dropped to 20 degrees celsius, and in the distance I saw the snow capped Rocky Mountains appear - my destination for this day! But first I had to master another challenge: I had to find a motorcycle workshop. Watch the episode to find out why my Tenere needed an inspection so urgently - and to join the ride through Colorado from Ridgeway to the famous town Ouray - a hub for some of Colorados best roads!
