the amazing Prusa Slicer and Ender 3 - Why you should ditch Cura

Sep 3, 2026

After the cura 4.2 broken support debacle i decided to give a shot to another free slicer, the Prusa Slicer! i am using Prusa Slicer with my ender 3 and getting amazing results with little to know learning curve. settings are more intuitive, and easier to access, with detailed explanations for each one. i was up and printing with prusa slicer in minutes, and while the layer height was a little high on my first print, and the support a little to strong, all i did was tweak two settings, and now i get beautiful consistent models, with no support artifacts, and great precision! definitely an upgrade compared to cura!
