DC Weather Authority: Scattered showers, strong storms possible in parts of region

The DMV area is currently experiencing cooler and unsettled weather. While conditions are currently clear in some spots, a cluster of strong storms moving from Ohio toward West Virginia and Central Virginia poses a risk of damaging winds, heavy rain, and lightning. Most of the beltway and eastern areas may avoid the worst, but residents are advised to stay alert.
