“Wild Geese over the Western Tower” is inspired by *A Twig of Plum Blossoms*, a celebrated ci poem by Li Qingzhao of the Song dynasty.

Blending classical Chinese poetry with the elegance of vintage Shanghai jazz, this song brings together gentle female vocals, piano and violin. Moonlit waterways, a solitary boat, drifting blossoms and wild geese crossing the night sky unfold into a quiet story of love, distance and remembrance.

Some feelings appear to fade like flowers upon flowing water, yet beneath the moonlight, they return softly to the heart.
