As the regular season comes to a close, we now have two veteran road warriors tied at the top,
both with something unique to prove. It's the final day of the LWS Open at Idlewild presented
by Dynamic Discs. I didn't even have to take the gap. You could go hyzer, but shows a lot
of confidence there. Now Lisa, chance to take a shot early. Can she get up and down? This might
hyzer around the back side of the cedar. It has, but it's going to go deep and uphill from circle's
edge. Elevated basket. She even had several mistakes in that seven under. She could have
even gone lower. Did a little check up here. It is awesome. Brian, look at the perfect height there.
Brian, that putt says so much to me. That is such a huge weight off the shoulders. Just
to start the round with a bonus putt. I mean for her, it doesn't feel like a bonus putt anymore.
She just increased her 83% C2 percentage by, you know, three or four percentage points, but
she needs a great finish at this tournament, which she's going to receive one way or the other
to get into that top 18 to try to qualify for the Pro Tour Championship.
She wins it. She doesn't have to worry about those points anymore. She automatically qualifies.
Wow, what a shot. Full commitment. Foster second. Yeah, Brian, this looks incredible.
If it's got the right, yeah, that's beautiful throw. Cherry on top of the sundae there for
Foster. That's going to be a tap-in birdie. She's going to get back to even. Oh, Brian.
Tiger Borth did it. Wow. It's looking right at you. It's 197 feet. Yeah, dude. Sorry, 192 feet.
And look at the stretch of 9, 10, 11. Tiger Borth. See if that OB shot from Kelly scares Lisa in her.
No, it doesn't. That's just exactly what you're looking to do.
But a very solid execution for Cadence. Lisa now throws her approach to bullseye.
This is exactly the start Lisa was looking for. Essentially, the birdie on three is so hard to get
that this is a perfect start. The holes that she can birdie, she has birdied. Making it very hard
for this woman to catch her now. Own to act and matching shot for shot at this hole is Owens
Scoggins also in the bullseye. Budinsky now for birdie. Yes. Putting superstar Chantel Budinsky.
Huge putt for Lisa here to save par. You bet. I mean, that's just you can't place it.
You could be a foot away and not put it more center than that. You know, I think they kind
of robbed her on the putt from hole one because it felt like that was outside the circle, too.
They gave her a 30 footer. Yeah, but this one for sure. Oh, I do. Uh-huh. She is six for seven
from range. Danny Hart now tee shot here on 10. Sitting in a tie for fourth. Very similar
to Emily's shot into bullseye. Going to be four under bogey free. Part of me wonders if that kick
down the hill putting into the straightest possible spot was the best thing for her,
but whether you'd rather be left to force the flex opening up the angle more. Either way,
she's done quite well with it into bullseye now. And I think that's your answer, Jerm. That's
going to be a tap in birdie for own. It's going to take it back to a one shot lead.
Make this birdie putt for Kelly and she delivers a strike. Chantel Budinsky,
just rough luck out there today. Oh, here she is on nine. Okay. Get the skip. Yeah. Hopefully a
little roll up to the pin. Terrible cut through on the previous hold. Barely OB long on four.
Now, Danny Hart, 192 foot par 311. Just need to not rebound too much off that wall. Well done.
You want a little bit of space opening up the angle for that uphill putt.
Was a very fortunate result. I don't believe she was going for that hyzer line.
And I don't know if she was going for that line either, but that's going to be right
inside the circle. I wouldn't have thought so either, but that's nearly the same line
she threw yesterday. Could be. Who knows? Oh, off the basket for monistay.
Scoggins now off the tee of 10. Got to make something happen. She's pin high. Yeah. Deep
inside circle, but deep. Her friend is still coming along for the ride. This is
pretty impressive at this point. Now, is that a moth or a butterfly, Jim? I'm starting to think
it's actually a very rare species of hummingbird. I hate you. I know. I understand that hatred.
Come up a bit short, right? And that's a chance for a birdie on a hole that's only seen one
birdie so far today. Eliezer Midley, of course. No way, man. Oh, yeah, baby. Danny dunks.
Look at that. Drops in the stepper from C2 the second of the day. She's five down
battling for a podium spot the first time in her career. How cool. And back to the tea
of the very aceable hole number 11. What? Oh, OK. Magic moth. Oh, it's gone.
Maybe that was preventing. Oh, gosh. Could you get a more perfect kick off the first available
tree? Oh, I take I take it back. I think the piranhas fins were still in the back of the hat.
Cadence inside the circle as well. A little bit more of a traditional line.
Foster crispy. You don't see many up there on that little tiny carpet green.
And now Lisa for birdie here. Oh, yeah. Shaky. Yeah. Nothing really to analyze. It's just a
missed putt from best putter in the field. Mm hmm. Own has become your sole leader.
Takes care of business. Determines. Very interesting. Yeah. Like is it perpendicular
to the tee, to the basket, to just some random arbitrary mark? There will always be a line
denoted once you pass that line. Imagine it's like a plane of glass. And if you break that glass.
Oh, nearly the counter skips into the basket for Eagle. What a shot. And looking at the caddy book,
just wanted to talk about that Mando. It is a Mando deep. So the line is perpendicular
to the tee pad. OK, at least a big shot now. Look at this turnover. Oh, that's wonderfully thrown.
A late flip forced overturn having to get the height right, the angle right.
There is an alternative fairway you can take being forced to take it,
showing some nerves in the last two holes. Can she settle those nerves? She can right in the middle.
We all need to just take a seat every now and then. Sometimes the world forces you to do so.
Lisa. OK, again, find safety. That's huge. That is going to be frustrating. No question.
However, par is still very much in play with a good second shot.
Advantage huge right now to own Scoggins.
Dude, that's so smooth. Wow. And Kelly Foster has one down the fairway. And like you said before,
it doesn't even look like she's trying. Grabbing one of the eight destroyers in her bag.
And oh, be found for Scoggins. That's still going to be a ways away from the pin.
Foster got to sit down. Really nice shot. Green flag. Well, I said 38. I think Hogan was more
right at 50 for par. Yes. Wow. On the weak side for the par, she will still gain a shot on Ficus.
Ice cold. Here's Eliezer middling another third throw close to the basket. She just snaps off
in the woods on distance lines like like no other player. It's been a tough day so far for her.
No, not on 18, folks. Two eagles on the 18th. She wraps up the regular season with a firework.
Oh, my gosh. What a baller. And Emily Weatherman now putting on 16. Yes, man, that is good.
And you know what? You know what? I mentioned something about the wrap on the left leg.
I'm hoping that's just a tattoo. We're hoping that's not a hamstring injury.
But clearly not affected on this putt. And he got a little bit deep OB on 17. A chance to
make the putt for bogey. Now cadence. And she's trying to do something special from
short end of the fairway. That's going to be in the circle. Great throw.
So Lisa will be lining up an anhyzer or the sidearm looks like she's going to go backhand.
It's only about 200 feet, but it's playing closer to 230, 240.
Inside the circle. Yeah, well done to keep her lead. Payton Kohut, final putt of the day.
And the 15 year old going to notch her best elite series finish.
And this is not the last we will see of her. Another phenomenal young talent.
The drama unfolds itself every time. Snoggins now standstill forehand.
Wisely playing it right and short inside the circle. I don't think you can play a better
tee shot. Snoggins for birdie. What a flawless tee shot. 700. Birdie on 18 and she ties first
record. The standstill forehand gets her mere inches from the out of bounds. Looking at the
fattest part of the island. That is masterful placement from a multiple time major champion.
Why not? Why not? Perfect position for the lean out forehand. Thank you, Sarah.
Vegas, final shot to the green. Love that power. Love that commitment.
Man, that was just perfect out of the hand. A great week for Cadence. Love to see her bouncing
back. And there is your champion of the basket. Will be a bogey through seven under. Brian,
there are two types of people in the world. People who really, really like Owen Snoggins
and people who have not met her yet. I dare you to say something bad about that woman.
Well, she sits now on top of the Powerball World Cup standing. That's another nice compliment to
give her. She is above Sylva Sarn and Holland Hanley. Look at the name she's beating this year.
And you're back to back to back champion, Owen Snoggins. It's a three-peat.
Not once, not twice, but three-time LWS Open to Idlewild champion, Owen Snoggins.
We're here with Owen Snoggins, the three-time champion here at Idlewild.
Lisa came out firing this morning and you had to have the patience to let the birdies come.
What gave you that patience to be patient and wait for your opportunities?
Simple. I have been in that situation a thousand times. I start very bad or behind a lot of
stroke. I've been through that. So that's why I just talk to myself, just another day,
another tournament, another round. I've done this. I've been there. That's why I was like,
just hold on. Just waiting is patient because I know the birdie will come or the mistake
or perfect throw will come. So just need to be patient. I just love the course. I love the people
and I feel like I'm very lucky because a lot of big pro lady not here. Thank you, lady.
Give me wins. I'll be honest on that. I just love everything. I love the course. I love people.
I feel like this course suits me pretty good because you need to throw backhand and sidearm
and of course putting has to be in hand also. I feel overall I'm lucky. I'm here. A lot of
players, good players not here. I think it's just my week. Hi on Skogin. Thank you for
