Indian refineries account for about 60% diesel to Europe

India is becoming a primary diesel supplier to Europe as Russian exports remain low and U.S. shipments decline. Leveraging its massive refining capacity, India provided about 60% of the diesel crossing the Bab el-Mandeb strait in August. However, a recent drop in crude shipments into India may challenge its ability to sustain these export levels.
