Just two days before Canadian counter-tariffs come into effect, U.S. President Donald Trump seems to have a new complaint about Canada - this time about our low dollar.

"Canada's (currency) Dollar imbalance with the U.S. is unacceptable. It has been that way for years - but no longer!" The President posted.

“He seems to be implying that Canada gets an unfair advantage from the currency exchange rate,” economist and director Jim Stanford from the Centre for Future Work said, “no economist on the planet would say, yes, they should be equal.”
