Combining the Cape Dutch style of her childhood with the local Portuguese vernacular, Penny Morrison’s authentic newbuild in Melides is a relaxed and inviting sanctuary filled with pieces picked up on her travels.

“I came for the weekend and completely fell in love with Melides,” says Penny as she recalls diving into the newbuild project on the Portuguese coast after a recommendation from Carolina Irving.
