Hello everyone, my name is Kate Wong. Welcome to my channel. I specialize in birds and flowers,
freestyle Chinese painting. Today I'm going to show you how to paint a bird. Let's get started.
Get some orange color and mix with ink to get the brown color for the back.
Same color for the head. But remember, wash your brush every time you get some new ink.
Then the beak. You may use orange, red or ink. Then outline the main body.
Finish it with some loose feather near the tail. The wings are in dark ink and a long tail.
Tree branches are in the shades of black ink, which is made by adding water through the belly
of the brush. It takes a bit of practice to get it right. When you're adding branches,
make sure that the color shades are consistent. Then touch it up with a bit of dark ink.
Now I'm going to add some leaves. Get some yellow color, then blue to mix. Always sketch
the lighter color first, which is yellow in this case. I like to dip a bit of red
to make the leaves a bit more vibrant. Let me paint another one with more obvious touch of red.
The feet and eyes of the birds are always the last. Thank you for watching. Hope you enjoyed
this video. Please share with your friends who may like it. I will be posting every week. Please
