Gov. Lamont, Sen. Fazio publicly spar over electric bills at Bond Commission meeting

Connecticut is allocating $145 million in borrowed funds to help lower electric bills for residents. While Governor Lamont argues that existing energy efficiency programs provide long-term savings, his opponent, Ryan Fazio, claims the measures are insufficient and that the state continues to subsidize private energy corporations through public benefits charges.
