A Corten House That Grows from the Landscape

Discover Corten House, a contemporary home designed to grow naturally from its landscape.

Built on the site of a former timber factory, the project responds to both the industrial memory of the land and its challenging natural topography. Fragmented volumes follow the contours of the slope, while green roofs allow the architecture to visually merge with the terrain.

Corten steel becomes the defining material of the house, recalling the oxidized steel sheets that remained on the site from its industrial past. Combined with exposed concrete, wood, and expansive glazing, the material palette creates a home that feels raw, tactile, and deeply connected to its surroundings.

The house is carefully lifted from the ground, allowing natural light to reach the lower level while preserving existing vegetation. At the centre of the project, the garden connects both levels and becomes the spatial heart of the home.
