This Entire House Was Designed Around One Tree

Welcome to Project Family Tree! This might be one of the wildest, most joyful homes we've ever had the privilege of designing — beginning with a 100-year-old olive tree that was literally craned into the middle of the house. Yes, really.
Our clients wanted a home unlike anything anyone had ever seen, but more importantly, they wanted a home built around family. Around gathering. Around hospitality, faith, art, color, travel, and a whole lot of FUN. So we went for it.
In this full house tour, I'm taking you through all the layers that make this home feel so incredibly personal: commissioned artwork, custom furniture, vintage pieces, wild fabrics, Calacatta Viola marble, bespoke hardware, rooms where absolutely nothing matches (on purpose!), and about a million tiny details that nearly killed my team but made the house so much better.
You'll see the glass atrium built around the olive tree, the dining room, music room, kitchen and back kitchens, our enormous great room, mudroom, laundry spaces, sport court, powder rooms, and a backyard that basically became the best hotel in Utah.
This house is bold. It's collected. It's playful. It's a little weird. It's incredibly beautiful. And most importantly, it feels completely, unmistakably like the family who lives here.
Come inside. I cannot WAIT to show you.
