Step back into the sunshine of 1936 and experience a classic American midwinter vacation!

In this incredibly rare, unedited footage (original outtakes from the "March of Time" newsreels), we take a fascinating look at daily life and tourism in West Palm Beach and Miami, Florida. Watch travelers enjoying the waterfront resort hotels, and experience the nostalgic romance of a 1930s train departure, complete with a small band playing on the rear platform as people wave goodbye.

✨ The Restoration & Sound Magic:
We took this nearly 90-year-old silent archival film and performed a deep remastering process. Our team manually removed decades of film noise and scratches, stabilized the picture, and applied highly accurate, manual colorization to bring the vibrant colors of 1930s Florida back to life. Finally, we created a full-scale immersive soundscape from scratch—from the chatter at the resorts to the live band and the powerful steam train engine.
