The New York Yankees, they broke the news to everybody and Aaron judge is
coming back.
And this is obviously I don't have to tell you how gigantic this is,
but do me a favor. Let me know what you guys think down in the comments,
hit that like button and subscribe. If you haven't already, it's free.
We're on the road to 25,000.
I did ask you guys to subscribe last upload and you reacted to
that very well. So I'm doing it again.
But if you love the Yankees, this is the place to be.
Aaron judge coming back. As I said,
I don't even have to tell you how important it is because you know that it is
so important without Aaron judge.
The New York Yankees were 45 in 39 without Aaron
judge. They survived, right? He's the best player on this team.
They built a team around them. They survived.
They kept their head above water, which that's what they needed to do.
And with Aaron judge this year, there's 36 and 23, man,
this upcoming schedule for them is
pretty favorable. They could go and sweep the Rockies. Then you got the Mets,
then you got the twins.
So three consecutive series where I could definitely see them winning.
Now versing San Diego this past weekend,
I mean, I'm not sure what that was a mix of bad
managing a mix of not focused play.
We needed to win that series and thankfully it didn't really
affect all that much in the standings because we began that weekend,
I believe four out and we're four out still.
So, or we began the weekend, I think three out and now we lost the game.
We're four out. What can he do? It is what it is.
But I will say this with Aaron judge,
the Yankees were fantastic this season and I think it's going to have a similar
effect now, but we have to be realistic about it.
He hasn't played baseball in over three months.
Aaron Boone mentioned over on talking Yanks that they're going to ease him in.
They may even take him out early in some games tonight.
Aaron judge is hitting third in the lineup playing right field.
They're not scared to throw them out there. I would not expect them to be,
but it just goes to show you that they're basically,
this is his spring training for the next week or two.
And then as the playoffs towards the end of the month,
as the playoffs start to kick off, Aaron judge should be hopefully in,
in playing shape. And that's what you hope for.
But right now they're going to ease them in as they should.
So don't expect them to play a full nine innings. He may, he may just play,
he may just get in a bat or two. That's it. And that's fine. Honestly,
that's okay.
But just the sheer presence in this lineup is so important.
Ben rice was having such a fantastic season with judging this lineup.
And listen, rice was still having a good season.
Judge has been out since may, right? That's a very long time since June.
Judge has been out. That's a very long time.
Ben rice did show this year. Hey, listen, he's human.
He could hit the crap out of the ball just as good as everybody else as anyone
else. But then sometimes he went a little downhill offensively.
Now with Aaron judge back in the lineup and him in this line,
it's going to be favorable for him.
This is a good thing for Ben rice.
This is a good thing for Luis Garcia.
That's one thing I'm excited about. I'm excited for Ben rice.
I'm excited for Garcia. Aaron judge being in this lineup,
makes that lineup so much longer. And then you add Cody Bellinger. Listen,
we didn't have Cody for a little while. Cody's been back for,
for a little bit now, but we didn't have Cody for a while.
So now you throw Cody in there. You throw Aaron judge in there,
this pitching staff as good as they've been and Cole surrendering the amount of
home runs he did against San Diego. It just happens that way,
but he's still a damn good pitcher. And Schlittler's a number one,
Cole two, three.
Would you guys pitch Cole to or freed to?
I think that's a fair question to ask because freed this season. I mean,
he's been wonderful for the Yankees. I may say, Hey,
freeze our number two starting pitcher and Cole's a number three and Cole's a
damn good three. Probably the best three in major league baseball,
the best number three starting pitcher in major league baseball. But right now,
how the standings look, the Yankees are four games behind Tampa Bay.
Don't have really too much to go now. What? 19 games.
Is it 19 games? I think so. But the Yankees do have a soft, softer schedule.
Tampa Bay, I believe is playing Atlanta.
So they're beginning his series against the Braves.
The Yankees are beginning a series against the Rockies.
This is where it could change a little bit. Maybe the Yankees gain a game.
Maybe the Yankees gain two games out of this,
but they have to sweep Colorado.
You have to go in there and you have to sweep them. You're in the Bronx,
go beat them up, go sweep them. And you have Aaron judge in the lineup.
Just his presence alone means so much.
That's not an accident that they brought him back. Now. It's not an accident.
I think they see Tampa Bay's matchups and their matchups. And they're like,
okay, who's better judge or Ramos.
I would take a cold Aaron judge or Ramos in any day of the week, twice on,
I would take a cold Aaron judge over almost anybody in this lineup,
almost any over almost anybody in baseball. I'm not naming names, but I,
but I would outside of Ramos, but I would do it for absolutely judge.
Aaron judge is that damn good.
I don't expect him to be all ready to go. And in a hundred percent,
because he's not, he's got to get back at the playing shape.
Still incredibly excited because listen, it's Aaron judge.
He's got more talent in his pinky than players than some players have having
their whole body. It's going to be really fun.
Just watching him in this lineup amongst the other guys in there too.
And here's another player that I don't want to count out.
Do not count out jazz Chisholm.
He's been playing pretty damn well as of late has a very good OPS over his last
30 games, like a seven,
almost seven 60 compared to where he was.
That's productive over his last 15 games,
four 34 on base five 53 slug it's playing well.
So now jazz is turning it up. You add Aaron judge to this lineup.
Cody has been performing.
Garcia has been performing Spencer Jones.
Performing so damn happy for this guy playing very,
very well. Now you're adding, you're putting Aaron,
you're adding Aaron judge to it all.
I don't care if judge is playing with one arm yet. Yet you have,
you're adding Aaron judge to it all. That's so huge.
That's so huge. What's going to end up being,
being the downfall of the New York Yankees.
And this team may very well make it to the world series.
I'm a little scared to go in and potentially going against Tampa Bay in the
playoffs in Tampa, Tampa Bay at home is very good.
We saw how the Yankees were last year in Toronto,
but I still think the Yankees could beat them. Absolutely.
But with how everything's coming together, even Austin Wells,
even Austin Wells, some of you might say Joe and what?
Austin Wells lately. Has it been horrible?
Has it been that bad? Last 15 games,
three 47 on base for 15 slug respectable that that's what we need him to do.
I think over his last like 40 games or 44, 45 games,
he has over an 800 OPS,
maybe a little under that at this point,
but that's the production we need out of him.
And, and he's been producing.
The thing is his numbers were so low at one point they were so low that he has
to just drag them up. He's got to drag them up.
That's tough to do. He's doing it. But guys, listen,
judge coming back. That's huge for the Yankees.
Not so great for major league baseball for the other teams.
Great for major league baseball.
Not so great for the teams in major league baseball because now you've got to
deal with Aaron judge and then he gets back into playing shape and that's
dangerous. All right guys, thank you so much for watching. Take care.
