The Telegram insider channel "Spy Dossier" published photographs of two destroyed Russian Pantsir-S1 air defense missile and gun systems and stated that "the hunt for Pantsirs continues." According to the channel, one system was destroyed near St. Petersburg, and the other near the village of Chaltyr in the Rostov region. The destruction of the air defense divisions opens the way for drone strikes deep into Russia's rear. The exact dates of the defeats are not named, but it is believed to be the summer of 2026. According to the Spy Dossier, two Russian servicemen—the crew chief and the operator—were killed in the destruction of this system. There is no official confirmation of this information from Russia. The third photo, according to the channel, shows a destroyed Pantsir-S1 near Chaltyr in the Rostov region. The damage appears severe: the vehicle's hull is torn apart, the turret and launchers are deformed, and there are signs of fire and detonation. The channel claims the system's operator was killed, and the crew chief suffered a traumatic amputation of his right leg. For Ukraine, such strikes are significant not only for the destruction of expensive Russian equipment, military observers note. The Pantsir-S1 is a close-in air defense system designed to protect airfields, warehouses, oil depots, headquarters, radar stations, and other critical facilities from drones and missiles. When such systems are disabled, new vulnerable zones appear in the Russian air defense system. Ukraine isn't simply targeting individual Pantsir missiles; it's gradually dismantling Russia's defensive perimeter. First, detection and close-in cover systems are destroyed, then strikes against airfields, oil refineries, warehouses, and command posts become easier in the same direction.
Earlier, Group 13, a special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, conducted a successful operation in the temporarily occupied Crimea. According to the Main Intelligence Directorate, in late July 2026, a control vehicle for the Podlet radar system and a Parol-4 radar interrogator were destroyed. To accomplish the mission, soldiers used the latest Magura naval platforms equipped with FPV drones. This enabled them to carry out precision strikes against Russian ground targets. "From now on, our Magurs threaten the Russian occupiers on land as well. This is a radical shift in the fight to a different plane. Overall, our operations during the war with the Russian aggressor confirm that there will be no place for the invaders in Crimea, neither in the waters, nor in the skies over the Black Sea, nor on Crimean soil. Crimea is Ukraine," noted Group 13 commander, call sign "Thirteenth." Group 13 has already destroyed nine ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet and damaged five others, destroyed three Russian helicopters and two fighter jets, and damaged another helicopter.
