ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp on Fox Business: "This is the Time for Presidential Leadership"

ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp joined Lou Dobbs on 7/10/14 to discuss the President's request for money to secure the border and violence in Israel.

On the Border Disaster: "Government does not have a revenue problem, government has a spending problem. If more money is needed on the border, than the president should find other departments that have excess capital and ask Congress to reprogram those funds. If we're going to spend more money, we should pay for it and remember we have a huge debt. The one good thing to come out of this is that people are realizing that the type of comprehensive immigration reform that was contemplated earlier - you can put a fork in it, it's done."

On violence in Israel: "It's a horribly unsafe world, terrorism is on the move again and this is the time for Presidential leadership. I'll stand up and applaud the President if he'll take on these folks and I just don't see it."
