Dashcam footage from Charleston County, South Carolina. The dashcam video was released by authorities so the public can view how the situation unfolded prior to the arrest and related body camera footage.

An internal review found no policy violations related to the pursuit itself. The sheriff’s office later terminated a deputy involved in the case for separate conduct captured on body camera.
