She combines affordable and high-end products, focusing on techniques for olive undertones and strategic layering to ensure a high-coverage yet seamless and natural finish.
Hi guys, it's your girl Sabrina and I'm back with a YouTube video.
Today we're doing a full face, filter looking makeup look.
That was a lot of words but this makeup look is going to make you look like a filter in
real life.
Let's get right into it.
I've been wanting to make a makeup tutorial here on YouTube for so long and all of you
guys are asking for one so like, I'm here, I'm going to do it, mama is going to serve.
I don't want to waste your guys' time so let's get right into it.
We're going to start with sunscreen.
Boom!
This one from Beauty of Yesun.
As a girl with dark skin, this one is the best sunscreen out there for me.
I have tried others, nothing beats this one and guys, if you don't use sunscreen, please
start now.
Like, you need sunscreen.
I moved to Southeast Asia and I'm living in Thailand right now and all I can say is, if
you don't wear sunscreen here, you are going to get burned.
You're going to get cooked alive.
My favorite season is winter so I don't know what I'm doing here but I love this place
still.
I'm not going nowhere.
Okay, now this product.
This is what makes the makeup actually look like a filter.
It's this Pore No More Primer from She Glam and it's so affordable.
Some primers, they don't do ----.
Like, they are so unnecessary.
You don't need them.
This, I'm so happy I can hold this in front of the camera because it's so affordable and
it's so good.
This blurs.
You know what?
Let me show you.
This, nah, because that's bad.
This blurs like crazy.
I'm telling you guys, this is going to make the makeup look like a filter.
I did not use everything I got on my face because too much primer is not good either.
Okay, now to the fun part.
We're going to use foundation.
So we have this one from She Glam in the shade Caramel and this one from Haus Labs in the
shade 370 Medium Natural.
I have an olive undertone.
I feel like you can never tell on camera but I really do have an olive undertone.
This Haus Lab foundation is amazing.
The only issue I have with it, it's really warm.
It says that it's natural but it has a golden undertone.
Let's just use it.
Oh no, that's very yellow.
I'm going to do one pump on this side and one pump on this side and if I need more,
I can just add more.
Where's my beauty blender?
And then all I do is just blend it out and I spread it out while blending it out.
I don't like a thick layer of foundation because it's just unnecessary.
If you have dark spots, you can add more coverage on those spots.
You don't need your whole face to have a thick layer because too much makeup makes it cakey.
Less is more.
Yes.
You can have a full face of makeup but still use a little.
And guys, please don't stop applying foundation here.
You need to go underneath your face as well and if you want, you can also go down to the
neck but that's optional.
I hate foundation on my lips.
I always remove it immediately.
And the last thing you should always do with your foundation is outline the upper part
of your eyebrows just like that and then I swipe the layer away with my finger to make
sure the layer is as thin as possible.
Okay guys, my foundation is on and now it's time for bronzer.
The bronzer that I use is actually a contour balm from Houselabs in the shade Silhouette.
And honestly, I've used the ---- out of this.
I love it.
And I put it very, very high up like this and on the other side.
I know the product is called contour but I don't even know if I can consider this a contour
because on my olive undertone, this looks really warm.
That's why I use this as a bronzer.
I like using the bottom part of a beauty blender because it's like round and full of space.
All you do is just like you go in like that and see how it's not high up anymore?
Like we place it very high up but while blending, it slowly goes down.
That's why I place it very high up to make sure it does not end up down here.
I'm a bronzer girly.
Like you're either a blush girly or a bronzer girly.
I'm a bronzer girly.
Girly.
The word girly makes it sound so fucked up but I feel like the more bronzer, the better.
Literally.
And I don't apply bronzer immediately on my forehead.
I take it from the sides and then I put it on my forehead because there's going to be
a lot of access on your beauty blender.
I know I'm going crazy with this bronzer but come on, like there's nothing such as enough
bronzer.
Because one thing I've noticed with Instagram filters, they are always bronze.
You know, TikTok filters, they tend to be cute and change your futures but Instagram
filters, like the OG filters, they are bronzy as ****.
Okay guys, now it's time for concealer.
When it comes to concealer, I don't really like my under eyes too bright but I still
want my concealer to be lighter than my foundation, obviously.
So I use these two.
Back then I only used this one.
This one from e.l.f. in the shade Fair Warm.
I love the e.l.f. concealers.
Some people hate the e.l.f. concealers.
I love them.
It's either you love it or you hate it.
For me, I love it.
And then I also use this one from She Glam in the shade Chestnut.
The reason why I use this one is I love the undertone and it's not too light.
This one though, way too light.
That's why I first go in with She Glam, Chestnut and then Fair Warm from e.l.f.
See?
It's lighter but not too light.
Love that, literally.
And I make sure to really put this around my nose.
I make sure to really put this around the nose.
This we can always blend up but when it comes to the sides, I only put it up here.
You should avoid concealer on your cheekbones because you want that snatched look.
Before I go in with my lightest concealer, I blend out this one first.
To get even more coverage, I put it on my hand and I mix it with the other concealer
to make sure it's not too light.
That way I can take it with my Beauty Blender and put it immediately underneath my eyes
with the Beauty Blender.
And I have so much more control over where the product ends.
Now I take my Beauty Blender, pick it up like that and I add.
You guys see that?
Oh yes!
Do you guys see that?
I use whatever is left on the Beauty Blender for my chin.
This is gonna give us this look.
You know what I mean?
That's what we want.
Okay guys, now blush.
When it comes to blush, I don't do much.
And yes, I put it very close to my eyes to make sure I don't remove any of my bronzer.
Of course, I want my blush to blend into my bronzer but I don't want my blush to take
away from the bronzer because my bronzer is lowkey the highlight of my makeup.
This looks so good!
Now nose contour.
I use this liquid contour from Shegla in the shade Cedar and I put a little bit underneath
my nose.
And then I blend to make sure it's a straight line because when it's straight, it looks
like your nose is pinching up.
It makes it look really cute.
And then I add a little bit of concealer right here because I don't like being dark here
because sometimes it looks like the bronzer ended up going all the way down here and I
don't like that.
That's why I'm making it a little bit lighter right here.
See?
I have to stop doing those sound effects.
And now I take the concealer that we mixed up and I add some foundation and then I mix,
mix, mix, mix, mix.
And this is what I add underneath my eyebrows.
And on my eyelid.
Don't be scared to put concealer on your eyelid.
As long as it's not too light, it's gonna look good.
I have to be a little bit careful because I have gotten my eyelashes done.
By the way, I got them done at Lash Affair Bangkok.
Best place ever.
All I do now is blend this out carefully without ruining everything else, including my eyelashes.
Okay guys, now press powder.
I will be using this press powder from Huda Beauty in the shade Peach Cupcake.
I put it on my powder puff and then I remove some on my hand and then I just put it underneath
my eyes first.
This is what I mean when I say filter.
And the press powder also goes on my shin and a little bit on my forehead.
And then, since I'm very generous with powder, I go in with the Huda Beauty loose powder
in the shade Banana Bread.
And I put that one all over my face.
And now I'm gonna tell you guys a secret.
I haven't had a powder bronzer for over a year now.
I never bought myself one.
Do I need one?
Yes.
I have to buy myself one.
I use the excess of this brush.
Girl, you are the sky.
I know.
Thank you for letting me know.
If you have powder bronzer, now you add your powder bronzer.
And now blush.
I use this blush from Huda Beauty.
It's the Roseberry Blush Palette.
And I like using this shade.
This is way more blush than I usually use, but the reason why I use quite a lot today
is because I want to look like I filter.
Okay guys, this is the highlighter.
It's this one from Tarte.
It's supposed to be a dupe from the Dior highlighter, but I have to be honest.
I did try the Dior highlighter in Sephora and that one is better.
That one actually looks like wet skin.
This one does as well, but not as much as this one.
But there is one that beats this one.
It's this one.
It's from Unleashia and I've used every single bit of it.
It's completely gone.
Like it's in a trash can.
To be exact, this shade.
This looks like water on your face.
So if you have the Dior one and you want something better, get this one.
You will be surprised.
So yeah, I just put the highlighter right here.
I feel like inner corner highlighter makes everyone look so cute.
It's like so needed.
And I also put some underneath my eyes.
And then I put some underneath here.
Yes.
Underneath the eye right here.
Okay guys, I'm gonna use some eyeshadow to be exact.
This one.
This Flower Nose palette.
The Sweetie Bear Collection six color makeup palette.
Oh no, it's called Buttery Croissant.
There's a lot of text on there.
I don't even know.
But I'm gonna use this shade right here.
I'm gonna apply it with my hands.
Like, oh yeah, that's more than enough.
Oh yeah.
Fingers was enough.
Yo.
Ho.
Did you just call me a ho?
I did.
What are you gonna do about it?
I'm gonna add some of this glitter shade.
Ooh.
Yes.
And now the most important part.
Whether it's a natural makeup look or a full glam, I always do this.
I put eyeliner on the waterline underneath my eyes and between the eyelashes.
This is a must.
Take a brown lip liner or eyeliner pen and put that underneath your eyes but only on
the sides.
Not in the middle.
Not in the inner corners.
Only here on the sides.
You could also use eyeshadow but I feel like with a pen you have more control where to
put the product.
Okay, guys.
Now I add some mascara to my bottom lashes.
Whoa.
Who is she?
Do you guys understand why we do bottom lashes?
Yeah.
Don't ever skip the bottom lashes.
This is what makes your eyes pop.
By the way, I use this mascara from SheGlam.
This one with a pink lid.
This is the best mascara I've ever used.
After this one from Flower Nose.
This one is insane.
But so is this one.
Okay, guys.
I was not planning on doing this but I'm going to add some of this beige liner underneath
all my waterline.
Oh, yes.
Okay, guys.
I'm going to do my hair and then I will come back.
Okay, guys.
This is not the finished hair, okay?
We need to brush through.
I think this side looks better because this one is curled inwards and this one is curled
outwards.
I can tell but, you know, I did my best.
When it comes to my lips, I use a brow pen.
Yes.
This is a brown brow pen.
It's the eyebrow designer pen from Essence.
Lately I've started to not like my lip liner too perfect so I smudge it out a little bit.
Yes.
I like that.
And I like my lips a little lighter so I'm going to add this.
For you guys, no name brand but it's from Benicos.
I bought this in Germany.
It's made in Italy.
And I use it a little messy.
Like, I don't want it to be perfect.
Now I'm going to go in with this Huda Beauty Gloss in the shade Light Sealer.
Light Sealer.
I think because it's similar to a concealer.
When I have this bronzy look going on, light lips just makes it look even better.
Oh yes.
Woo!
And I'm not going to lie, this is my first time using this one and I'm in love.
One thing you should always do before you finish your makeup, like before you say it's
over, we're done, no.
You always have to brush through your eyebrows because there is so much product that has
come on top of it such as powder, while powdering, or the setting spray itself.
That makes your eyebrows look so much more natural and not like it's makeup on top of
makeup.
If you know, then you know.
If you have the struggle, then now you know what to do.
And then you fill out your eyebrows again.
You don't have to make them darker but you do need to put a layer of this, like off the
eyebrow pen again.
So the last layer on your eyebrows is not powder, it should be the eyebrow pen.
Okay guys, this is my finished makeup look.
Everything turned out amazing.
Even my hair ended up turning out exactly the way I wanted it.
I'm so excited that I was able to film this video for you guys.
It's been highly requested and finally, I filmed it.
It's going to be a lot of editing though.
This video ended up becoming two hours of footage, maybe even a little bit more than
two hours though.
Your girl has been filming, filming, filming and I have to edit it immediately so I can
deliver.
