Professor Chang Chin-sheng is a renowned and accomplished master painter, celebrated in both Taiwan and the Greater Vancouver area. He has mentored thousands of students, including many who went on to become art teachers and professors themselves. He studied under legendary masters such as Zhang Daqian, Huang Junbi, Fu Juanfu, and Shao Youxuan. He holds an MFA from St. John's University in New York, served as a full-time professor in the Fine Arts Department of a national university in Taiwan for twenty years, and immigrated to Canada in 1992. Solo Exhibitions: He has held over ten solo exhibitions and academic lectures at prestigious institutions worldwide, including Harvard University (USA), the University of Hamburg (Germany), UBC (Canada), the University of Tsukuba (Japan), the Hakone Open-Air Museum, Korea University, the Sejong Center, and Lotte Hotel (Korea), as well as the Taiwan Provincial Museum and various municipal cultural centers. His work has also been featured in national joint exhibitions of art professors and at numerous art museums across Taiwan.
