In the near future, a pandemic has tainted the world's water supply, forcing humanity into a deadly paradox: drinking too little leads to dehydration, but drinking too much is poisonous. Dr. Jennifer Ashgrove is the top scientist closest to finding a cure, but the immense stress is causing her to have memory blackouts. To recover, she retreats to a country home with her husband, Jason. However, the weekend proves to be tense and full of secrets. Jennifer suspects that Jason is hiding something from her, and their struggling relationship becomes the center of a mystery that could determine not only their future, but that of all mankind.
