Okay we've had a little look at how to prepare iced filter coffee in our main video and here
we're going to apply those findings to a range of different filter coffee brewers. So first up
let's look at the Aeropress. Now to make iced filter coffee in the Aeropress we'd recommend
using 20 grams of coffee. Make sure you grind this a little bit finer than you would for a
regular Aeropress recipe. Now you want to add 120 grams of ice to the cup that you're going to brew
into and add your coffee into the chamber. Get nice fresh boiled water and add 180 grams of it
onto the ground coffee. As soon as you can really really nicely thoroughly agitate the brew slurry
to make sure you get a nice even full extraction with less brew water at your disposal.
After a couple of minutes give it another stir and then really gently plunge it down directly
over the ice. At this point it's going to begin to melt and you can encourage this with a little
bit of stirring until it's all nicely mixed together and then add one really nice big
chunk of ice to keep the drink cool while you enjoy it.
