Officer to be fired after leaving scene of deadly hit-and-run crash in Philadelphia: Commissioner

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel has announced the suspension and intended dismissal of a two-year veteran officer following a fatal hit-and-run on August 27. The officer is accused of failing to render aid to a man who was wobbling in traffic before being struck and killed by a vehicle. Police are still searching for the driver responsible for the death.
