Taiwan Plans To Open New Mission in Cebu, Philippines

Taiwan is planning to open a second representative office in Cebu City, Philippines. Foreign Minister Lin Jialong stated that this expansion aims to strengthen ties in the central region, enhance collaboration on maritime security challenges, and deepen existing economic relations, particularly supporting the over 200,000 Philippine nationals living and working in Taiwan.
