Creating 3 Mountain Landscapes | Paul Rubens 132 Color Haiya Oil Pastel Set

Join me as I create three unique mountain landscapes using the Paul Rubens 132 color haiya oil pastel set. Each landscape has its own atmosphere, color palette, and approach, giving me the chance to experiment with different ways of working with oil pastels.

Throughout the paintings, I explore a variety of techniques to create different textures and effects, including layering and overlapping colors, smoothing and blending with my fingers and using a pallet knife to add texture and definition. I also experiment with building up colours to create depth and dimension in the mountains and surrounding landscapes, I love how versatile pastels can be specially when you combine different techniques to create completely different effects. These three landscapes were a fun way to explore the range of colours and possibilities in the Paul Rubins 132 colour set.
