Quebec diver attacked by great white shark

A diver is hospitalized after being attacked by a white shark during a scuba excursion off the Gaspé Peninsula near Percé. The victim received immediate first aid on-site and was transported to a hospital for evaluation. While the diver's life is not in danger, all local diving activities have been suspended for the remainder of the season as a precautionary measure.
