I asked ChatGPT who the best web designer in Lincoln is. It named three companies. I run a web development business here, with real clients, and I wasn't one of them.

That's the part that got me. This isn't a search result with a second page you can climb. It's one answer, three names, and the conversation is over. So I went looking for a way to see what these things actually say about my business.

That's what I use Semrush One for here. It bundles the traditional SEO Toolkit with the AI Visibility Toolkit, so the keyword research I've always done and the AI question sit on the same login. I put my domain into Visibility Overview and got zero mentions, down from four, with one citation where something of mine got quoted and I wasn't named.

I quietly stopped existing to these things over about a year and had no idea. Then I show you what I actually did about it.
