Bow well are the Birch Bark Arrows going to hold up? For centuries cultures such as the Moguls and Magyars have used bark like Cherry and Birch to add added strength to their tanged arrows, much in the same way sinew is used. so!, let us test the Birch! the arrow heads are not tanged but the principle of the test remains the same!

Video Summary
AI GeneratedThe speaker demonstrates the durability and performance of birch bark wrapped arrows. After a full day of shooting in muddy conditions, the arrows remained intact without peeling or softening. The speaker also showcases a satisfactory grouping of shots, confirming that the birch bark wraps at the bases of the piles do not hinder accuracy or structural integrity.
Now I know a few people had some questions about the durability of the birch bark that's
on here.
They have been shot all day round this course today, in and out of the mud, arrowheads have
just started to turn silver which is nice, and they've been held up fine, they haven't
softened in the mud, they haven't started to peel, we stick a few in the target so they've
got something a bit more resistant, so we'll see how they go, but I imagine they're going
to be just fine.
Absolutely fine, no problems whatsoever.
So I've just taken my shots over by this tree over here, and this is my grouping, so I'm
actually quite happy with this, I've got two of them nice and close together there, and
then I've got my other ones here, and here, some new birch bark arrows, turkey feathers
at the front, birch bark wrapped at the bases here, there we go, birch bark wrapped at the
bases of the knots of the piles, absolutely fine, fully intact, not damaged at all, yep.
I don't know how I missed that!
Thank you very much for watching this video guys, I hope every one of you enjoyed it,
and I hope this answered any questions you might have had about the birch bark arrows,
and I'll see you on the next video.
